Found by river system in jewelweed and a SHITLOAD of itchweed that almost made it not worth it, it was such a pain in the ass.

this big fucker as u can see compared to a phillies blunt (Rolled with another substance of course) growing off decaying log among jewelweed, itchweed, and japanese knotweed nearby, stem was white and thick, fleshy no immediate blueing as with the ones above have no idea???

Nice finds, the unknown looks like a pluteus.

we ate the ovoids...we had 10 fresh grams... we each ate 5 grams and we got a nice body high for about 3 hours ...it was funny lol...but we left the "pluteus" there after seeing it didn't bruise and DEFINITELY didn't match what I was looking for just in size. after doing some basic research i found that this species seems to most fit Pluteus salicinus, because of the pink in the gills that we found. is this also a psychoactive mushroom? if so i might have to save it for next month haha

All Pluteus has pink gills as the spores mature. The difference in P. salicinus is that the base of the stem is bluegreen. Its pretty rare, usually only found about once per year.

P. salicinus also has the psilocybe smell.

i went back and looked i didn't have the greenish blue base, but it really doesn't look like the pics I've seen of Pluteus cervinus ...really don't know what it is...it did smell like the ovoids i found tho...at leas to me..i haven't smelled many types of mushrooms tho so that might not be a fair assessment by myself...
this should be under trip reports but i figured id just say it in this thread since it kinda has to do with it... i ate those ovoids and i got a nice body high for about 3 hours... but no visuals..the one thing i thought was kinda funny tho was when i closed my eyes i saw hundreds of jewelweed plants..like ..from an above view..the leaves on top and i thought it was funny prob b/c i had been looking through them all day..

Sounds like the mycelium was trying to tell you something. Possibly even revealing exact locations.

When the mushroom speaks, you'd do well to listen.
