Fat people
    #8453590 - 05/28/08 01:27 AM (15 years, 7 months ago)

how many of you are completely disgusted by fat people? my parents aren't exactly in shape, and I like them as well as a couple others, but I get a sick feeling when I see obese people. I know it's their life, but WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU TO TAKE UP SO MUCH SPACE? pretending to not despise my fat employees is an all day job. most of the time if i get to know a fat person, I realize they aren't that bad, but a lot of them seem to have given up on life b/c the tiniest exertion of energy is like torture to them, and they have low self esteem.

I don't think its a bad thing, b/c its something they can help. the ones that ride those motorized carts at Wal*Mart shouldn't be allowed in public, much less at a place where they can purchase food.

I'm sure some of you will flame me for this, but thats probably b/c you or your significant other are fat, so don't waste time on the internet when there are 24 hour gyms.

I used to really hate fat people--and i still do to a pretty far extent.

but then i started speaking to my 10year-older sister who i've never really known growing up, and she's obese. now that i have a loved one associated with obesity, i try to be a little more... compassionate.

i still dislike obese people for the most part....

oh well, at least i'm trying to eradicate my negativity in life.

They shovel food into their mouths like it's going to escape.

People do hate to feel better, yes.

Why else would they bother?

Fat people are the easiest targets. Their destructive habit is plain for all to see. Haters are no better, their problem is just less evident.

I sort've feel disgusted looking at obese people. But growing up as a child/teen i was probably 50lbs overweight. By no means obese, but it was enough to experience the shitty feelings and thoughts that overweight people go through. So I can relate to them in a way.

Haha but sometimes it's hard not to be like "hoolllyyy fuck beached whale!!"

I'm overweight. I wouldn't classify myself as obese. I'm 250. At 6'3" that's not too bad. I have a beer gut. About 4 years ago, I was 185. I had a six pack. Then I started working at a desk job. Seriously, I sat at a desk 10 hours a day, 6 days a week. That shit drains you man. I got up to just under 300, and figured it was time for me to leave. I gained over 100 lbs in less than 2 years.

Obese people don't really bother me. Obese children do.

I dunno. Maybe your kids like their diabetes. Who am I to judge?

I Hate the fat people who sit beside you on the bus. Like the chick in the Mu Mu with the sombrero and some stubbly facial hair, because of all the hormones she's absorbed from eating steroid-filled hamburgers, and the bad body odour sweating like a pig.

Or the dude with food all over his crappy band-shirt who breathes through his mouth with a greasy braid of hair hanging down his forehead and fingers stained by doritos.

thats not being a hater. being a hater is usually a matter of jealousy. if i said i hate people who drive ferrari's and blanketed them as douchebags, that would be hating. being disgusted by fat people is like being disgusted by people who talk when they have a mouth full of food and spit it all over the place.

Im not talking about being slightly overweight. you see overweight athletes all the time. the post was about obese people who break a sweat walking from their car to Mac Donald's front door.

but yes, I do feel good about myself when I see fat people

How are you, disgusted by fat people, any different from a racist, disgusted by black people? You're a hater, a person who's fucked in the head and takes it out on other people.

When I see a morbidly obese person, I see a handicapped person, simple as that. Whether someone weighs 300 lbs or misses both his legs - if the sight of such a person disgusts you and brings up all sorts of unpleasant sentiments, thats just a matter of you being fucked in the head and taking it out on others, just like a racist who "can't stand the sight" of black people.

Its none of your business how people look in the first place. Live and let live.

theres a huge difference. handicapped people generally didnt get that way b/c they lacked self control. white people are born white and black are born black, thats not a life choice. nobody lacks the ability to get in shape, its a decision to be unattractive and to give up on taking care of themselves.

further more i don't take anything out on fat people, i just dislike them. its not like i attack them or rally up other people to exterminate them.

Well its usually poor life choices and not being alert or thinking things through that cost them their limbs. Surely you can hold that against them too. Should've been more careful, no?

If life was as simple as the caricature in your mind, wouldn't you think more people would figure it out like you did?

Do you think people would undergo stomach surgery, and surgeons putting the lives of these people at risk, if it was all so simple as shrugging your shoulders and starting life anew?

for people who can run on their legs or get basic exercise, weight reduction surgeries (other than breast reduction) is a complete half-ass cop out by lazy people who have money. I know a girl who lost nearly 200lbs playing Dance Dance Revolution for a few hours a day for a year and a half. hell a Nintendo Wii can be decent exercise if you play the boxing shit. when you see somebody get helicoptered off a beach for being so fat they cant fit in an ambulance, it helps you realize how pathetic fat people are

When I see someone who is very fat, I feel sorry for them. For some reason they can't get the weight off, it doesnt matter if its physical or between the ears, for whatever reason they can't get it done, leaving them trapped in a deformed body with all sorts of people (just look at this thread) hating on them.

The earlier poster is right, you are a bunch of haters.

Heres a community of drug users who often live alternative lifestyles, and you see lots of threads hating on black people and fat people.

Maybe the conservatives are right and druggies are a bunch of trash and lowlifes. A lot of you sure post like 'em.

One word: DIET.

Stuff yourself silly with fruit and vegetables (or a very light, clean diet) for months and months, and you'll lose weight.

We are what we eat.

I don't feel weird around fat people "because they're fat." It has to do with health. Health is attractive. I am drawn towards healthy people, enough said.

For the most part it doesn't bother me. But when I see a couple (husband and wife) who are both fairly fat using the motorized carts at Wal-mart or Home Depot instead of allowing elderly or handicapped people to use them it bothers me. That's more a case of laziness irking me though.

Obesity is absolutely disgusting. I even get grossed out by mildly overweight people.

It's simple people: eat healthy food, don't eat crap, and move every day. If it is from nature (fruit, vegetable, nut, bean, meat, etc..) then eat it. If it is from Man (sugar, partially hydrogenated oils, preservatives, chemicals, no nutritional value, etc..) then don't eat it. Eat a well-balanced diet of healthy food and exercise....duh! It's not rocket science and you don't have to pay any money to do it. Yet, somehow the diet and exercise industry generates billions of dollars a year from stupid, gullible, and lazy people.

I am ashamed to be an American at times.

I like fat chicks. I find the large amount of empty space they occupy acceptable because they make the space more attractive to look at than it was before.

Perfection.

Fat men are different. They are disgusting and pathetic and need to get a life and stop stealing all the fat chicks from me, because unlike women, men have no biological or aesthetic excuse for being fat. Men are supposed to be trim and flexible, whereas women are supposed to be well-padded and sufficiently nourished for the purposes of childbearing.

Extra fat just looks proper on a woman, it's meaningfully distributed among her various feminine assets and enhances her curves. But on a man it just looks ungainly and ridiculous.

I used to be really fat (290 at age 16) and no kidding it was because I lacked the self-awareness to NOT be fat. I ate whatever I wanted with ZERO guilt (I'm talking a box of poptarts for breakfast) and just was fat because I'd always been fat. My family wasn't fat, my friends weren't fat, but because I lacked the awareness that I was fat I was perfectly confident. Then one day for some reason or another I realized I was disgusting, a literal sack of meat. The realization occurred out of nowhere and I was no longer ignorant to how pathetic my body was. I fell into a pit of self-loathing and starved myself and did drugs until I weighed about 230. Then I got into fitness and worked myself down to 180. I'm 5'10" with quite a bit of muscle (it takes a lot of muscle to carry around 110lb of fat) so 180 is where my body sits comfortable. Right now I am 190 and have fallen into the habit of eating unhealthily again. As of right now I have been reminded that being fat sucks and I'm setting to goal to get to 175 in 3 months.

People let themselves get fat because nothing ever clicks in their brain that says its wrong, despite everything you hear and know, if it doesn't feel wrong (you aren't ostracized, life is enjoyable with friends family freedom etc) then its not necessarily a problem is it? I don't have a problem with fat people nor am I disgusted by them unless they don't take care of themselves at all (bad hygiene, no aspirations etc.) and there are skinny people that are like that as well.

Anyway, I believe that exercise and good diet is the key to healthy living. They say that an individual can live significantly longer on a very low calorie diet than even on what is recommended by various health organizations. This has been proven for most of the mammals closely related to humans.

Penis penis penis penis penis. Penis penis penis penis penis. Penis penis penis penis penis. Penis penis penis penis penis. Penis penis penis penis penis. Penis penis penis penis penis. Penis penis penis penis penis
Penis penis penis penis penis.

In conclusion I think being fat, smoking, driving excessively fast, eating "junk food" (even if your metabolism can handle it), isolating yourself from other humans, joining the army, and various poor lifestyle choices are all subtle manifestations of suicidal behavior.
