Well tonights the night that the Phoenix Rover lands on Mars.
It left I think August 4th or 5th of 2007 and it's landing tonight.
Im pretty excited to see what it finds or what we learn from it.
There doing a 2 hour special called Mars Phoenix Lander tonight from 7pm - 9pm on Discovery channel and discoverychannel.ca is also showing it. It's gonna be a live showing. I wouldn't miss this show for the world.
Pretty fucken far when u think of it also, it's gonna take 15 minutes for radio signals to reach earth at the speed of light.
Mars is 35 million miles away at it's closest point to earth. Wonder how far it is now from us.

Hey thanks a lot. Discovery Channel where I live isn't doing the special, there's a stupid "Deadliest Catch" Marathon on all night. Thanks a lot for the website though, I'll be watching.

Looks like it made it.
The first pics are already up. I think its first mission should be to find the other two rovers already there.

it will be very interesting to see what it finds over the next couple weeks! It's nice a lot of different countries are pushing towards researching and sending humans to Mars again.
