I think this is the right forum, if not i apologize.
Now I have never fasted, but have been reading up on it a bit and i think I'm gunna give it a try. I was thinkin a three day water only fast. Is this a good one to start out with to "get my feet wet" so to speak ??
Also I really want to stop smoking cigarettes, would the day i start my fast be a good day to quit, or is it possible that it may have some unpleasant outcome???

Hey baby, I think that is a great idea if you want to try it out.
I'm sure you will be happy to reada little of this:http://smoking.ygoy.com/2007/11/06/habit-of-smoking-can-be-rid-through-fasting/
"In order to get rid of your habit of smoking you need to fast for three days. Fast on brown rice and water or carrot juice three days in a row. If you can’t fast for three straight days fast one day a week for three weeks or as close together as possible. Fasting leads to detoxification and improvement in organ function simultaneously
The withdrawal symptoms of addiction to such drugs as alcohol, cocaine, nicotine and caffeine are resolved quickly while fasting. Most people are amazed at how easy it is to quit smoking while fasting. Those who have fasted begin to respect their body in a new way that enables them to take better care of themselves in the future. "

When quitting cigs people usually get very bad food cravings and end up gaining weight. I wold see it as making the fast more difficult, but not impossible. I personally am not an advocate of water fasts. They can be danerous with certain people and situations. This is much better. Check it out.

yea i wouldn't smoke. your body will already be working hard to detox no need to make its job more difficult. it might just make you really sick. with low blood glucose and nothing to feed on except poisonous fat reserves (no offense everyones fat reserves are toxic), more poison might just make you sick. your call though but i wouldn't recommend it.
