The collection was made for study purposes only, all specimens will be preserved for examination, also I only really collected mature specimens and there were a lot of pins! inski...

Sounds like the smart thing to do. I look forward to seeing if you get a positive ID on them.

Looks like a sectoid cyanofriscosa. The gills remind me of the gills on the unknown Psilocybe I find here in Washington. Good luck with the new species!
Did you happen to get any good prints?

very interesting!
My first thought was some mutant strain of subaeruginosa but they definitely look just a bit too different... would be interested in the micro results
Somebody told me about some mushrooms that sounded very similar to what those look like. But that was at the other end of the country - in Southland. They were growing in "clumps" from rotting pine in grass...

whoa what beatifull pictures . are you aware of undergrounder material , is exactly as he said ,all do i dont know if is the same specie but look pretty close , with that microscopy look like a new one i will like to ask what makes this , is this a decendant of subbs or a total new specie, i guees well my theory is some conditions make some normal mushrooms to be secotoid maybe a bacteria or something is my idea , and this make step a new specie . http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/7037066#Post7037066
