taking bigger hits

Well I was wondering if anyone could explain some breathing exercises that help with lung expansion and taking bigger hits, I searched the site but not much info...and ive searched internet, im sure ill come across something but i was curious if anyone would care to share something they know works? thanks alot all comments appreciated =)

Well, if you want bigger hits, buy a bong or hooka. You can get good hits off pipes but for huge ones I think a bong is in order. Just breath in deeper is alls you have to do.

The easiest way to take bigger hits is to breath while you are smoking.

What I do is I will fill my mouth with smoke and exhale through my nose, then continue to fill my mouth with smoke while slowly inhaling whats in my mouth as I pull more and more smoke through the chamber, always the biggest hits whether it be a pipe, bong, blunt, or chillum

i swam and excercised vigorously for 4 or 5 years, that got my lung capacity up to gargantuan levels. i think the biggest thing is staying calm, when i had to swim laps (and dive deep to go spear fishing), staying calm is the most important thing to holding your breath. gotta try to slow down your heart rate, don't expend a lot of energy that will make your muscles demand oxygen, then you'll be able to hold it longer for sure. that same calmness will help you to take a long inhale, since you're not breathing at nearly the rate you're used to. hope this helps!

when you are inhaling a bong, take little breaks and get a little air up through the nose, this helps with the "stinging" feeling in your throat and action to make you cough.

If your lungs cant handle inhailing more smoke then all you can do is smoke more over time until your lungs are adjusted.

Or you can do what i did! Make a home made bong with 2 bowls. Make it so you can inhail hands free and light both bowls at once. Smoke is so thick you get lost in a hotbox after 2 bowls

Yeah.. exhale all of the air in your lungs.. start inhaling from the bong[etc.] slowly from you're diaphram.. basically just keep your mind calm.. keep slowly inhaling untill you feel like you are going to pass out!
