Is there life after trich?

I just checked in on my jars of rye, and every damn one of them got trich. Every single one- all 12.
Is my apartment f'd from now on? Will i ever be able to grow mushrooms here again?
I must have trich spores everywhere, what is the solution to this? CAn any amount of cleaning, and spraying the hell out with Oust cure my trich problem?
HELP im very worried about my future in mycology.

All I can speak to you about is my experience. There is life after trich. Yes. Last time around, I had 3 tubs that all developed trich. I did open them, but of course this was when I had to confirm that patch of weird white turned green. There was ALOT of green in one tub that failed to fruit (wonder why...) at the time I opened it, no doubt spores went gaga in the room. I picked the current flush outside and closed the tubs up. The tubs had to stay in the room until I was able to clean em out outside. By that point it was all green. This was not the best course of action, not tossing them as I took the last flush off, but w.e I got shit to do and I'm lazy. lol
Either way, this time around I was very careful and sterile as possible. All work done in the same room (EXCEPT SPAWNING). I Ph balanced my casing layer (a lil on the sweet [basic] side)( no more straight MGMC for me) and so far all is fine, I'm keeping my eyes out, but everything is good, I've flushed already.

so, lysol everywhere, and re-think my sterile procedures will solve my problems?
edit*
All my trich appeared in my rye jars, that have been in the incubatorational machine for 4 days. They are covered with the tyvek and mason jar lids with open holes. So im thinking the trich got out, and messed my hole incubator. Then when i opened the incubator, messed my whole room. I've been spraying Oust air sanitizer everywhere.
I plan on taking my contam'd jars- loading them into the PC and PC'n the hell out em tonight. Then tommorrow i will buy more oust, and bomb my rooms.
I wish they had one of those flea bombs, except made for sterlization- thats what i want to do.
Hopefully this will re-sterilize my set-ups, make my jars usable again, and- once again- make the world a safe place to live.

I would say the tighter your game is in the future, the better your chances are of avoiding greenism. Personally I hate Lysol (one time I was inoculating in a lysoled up room, my cat was playing on the other side of the door, and started coughing horribly ) but yea I lysol'd (or was it Oust) the shit outta the area. Don't know if Lysol kills spores but yea dunno what else to do. After my trich experience, I was really worried too and tried to find what my options were to make the future friendly. Other than running a true HEPA in my room for a few hours (not possible), Lysol, still air box and extra careful are all I had.

Yeah, this has been my first encounter with mass amounts of trich. The terrorist threat is on red in this house, and will never be orange again.

I'm afraid I've gotten lazy, and broken my rule of no peeking. PEEKING DUCK!!!! (i know its a goose silly lol) But yea, I'm really glad to see the lack of green. And I'm attributing it to the Ph of the 50/50 casing. 50 MgMc 50 Verm (out of peat, yes I break all the rules), given some hydrated lime. Not sure how much exactly, but I used ~ 1qt of casing mix, so roughly 5% maybe a bit more lime added before hydration.

After i rid myslef of this trich issue in the next few days, i think i may go back to pf-tek BRF jars for a bit. With the contam barrier and all.... that way i insure myself some fruits in the comming weeks.

That's odd ... the only time trich ever hit in the jars for me, was when I used rye! After my first bout of trich, my next two attempts (1. WBS 2. cooked brown rice) each went belly up to the bastard trick too. I stopped cultivating for about 7 months, then set up a monotub (that's a monotub à la ohmatic ... not a monotub à la dolts on "another" forum, who insist that any bulk grow in "one" tub is a monotub ... ) I inoculated four pint jars of WBS with B+, then spawned to a monotub for the first time, on the advice of a more experienced cultivator. This is day 4, and there is no sign of trich .. TONS of beautiful white myc It might be an idea for you to try, at any rate ... once all your sub is in the monotub, it's sealed up and you don't touch it again until harvest time ... at least ... that's the theory!

Lysol kills spores, I believe.
I know that Clorox Cleanup in a spray bottle kills the shit out of spores, so if you have white walls just spray them down. Mist them from a foot away, it doesn't take much. Then Lysol the air in the room and you should be good on that front.
