well I made got held up on getting some spore prints that I had been waiting on. I already had cooked several jars and they had set for a week. This was my first prints that I have worked with. I got in a hurry, made them up and went to work. I checked my jars and boom I had three that are fully colinized in 3 days. The rest are not showing any signs of growth. After reading further, I realized that I should have let the syringes set before use, so I see my mistake. My question is "Is there any thing special that I should do with these rushing cakes, or just go ahead and case them?"

just an old hippie looking for his head

Thow them out, thats too fast. If its fully colonised then it must be freak mycellium and therefore you could turn into a freak consuming the fruit.

On a serious note you should verify that it is mycelium because cobweb mold is more likely to colonise in 3 days than mycelium, that is really. really. really. (really) fast.
