IMO college is one of the best aspects of this country.  It's one of the only reasons I still reside in the USA.  As for pseudo-intellectuals, college is whatever you make of it, some people are sheep, some are not.  However it does teach you basic pricipals.

You really, really don't, and ad hominem arguments are usually rampant anyway

Like grammar, syntax, and the proper meaning of words. :smirk:

At least on the internet, you can instantly fact-check and learn as you argue.

Precarious isn't a typo, it's just a word that makes no sense in the context.

First of all "Precarious" is an adjective so even if the word did belong in the sentence, you used it incorrectly.

Secondly, it doesn't belong there. You are using words that you don't know the meaning of.

How would "perilous" make any more sense in its place?

Because college is designed as a halfway between independence and dependence, promoting free thought and a much wider array of ideas and opinions, and from what I've seen that can really go to people's heads

Rather my point is college is still a place where people are growing and they simply haven't experienced enough to justify talking about issues with such gravitas as the Iraq war

Yea, i happen to agree with you there.

But i think you need to look up the definition of "perilous" because I don't see how it applies at all to what you just said.

Alright man. Look, the only reason I went into it is because you asked to have it explained to you. Otherwise I would have let it be.

i get angry when i hear most people talking about politics, because of one or all of these reasons:

1. they are ignorant and live in a long gone era or ass backwards policies.
2. have no fucking idea what theyre talking about and only repeat what their parents or pastor says.
3. dont even keep up with politics much less participate.

people anger me. we are the smartest stupid animals on the planet.    :crankey:
