I have heard that if using the Pf Classic they are very substrate specific and don't do well on manure.

What happens? Does it contaminate? Just not grow? What exactly is the issue you are having with it? BRF cakes work fine with dung

i have heard people talking about ranchers using fungicide in thier field and i think the likelyhood is realy low unless they are selling the manure comercialy, thus wanting to preserve it, as fungicides would inhibit the decomposition of the dung and cause it to remain and build up in the field. i don't know this for sure and i'm realy just guessing but it makes sense to me. i wouldn't want my horses living in more of their own filth than nesessary.

My friend told my that there is a hormone used by ranchers and a side effect is that it prevents fungi growth. He was going to give me some patties and told me that you can't just go get some shit from a field and think it'll work. Try a different field. I'll try to find out more on this Dog.

Not sure about horses, but in my area, farmers reputedly feed their cows grain with a fungicide additive. I don't know if this is true or not, but it seems plausible.
