i have not picked them before but this season i am gonna go down to the southern coast of washington and try to get some!!! i really want to try this mushroom

i live up closer to seatle but i am gonna go camping down in the area and see what i can find. I really hope to be able to find this mushroom this season. I went to late last year

yea give me a shout when you do and i will give a couple tips on finding them they aint too hard i just went at night. you gotta rip thorugh that grass they are underneath them

they only grow on the oregon and washington coast like close to astoria and longbeach

The Azures started fruiting in mid October last year. I will be heading to Astoria at the end of September to see what is growing.

oh. if i take time to go up i'm not leaving untill the trip has made itself worthwhile, either with tangible results or untill i've seen enough beautiful coastal scenery to make up for it.

Joshua: as a man of experience, can you give me an idea of the what and when to look for when hunting the Azurencens?

I've seen a lot of pictures showing big clumps of shrooms, but my buddies that have made the trip to Astoria say that they were lucky just to find a few scattered under the long dune grass.

Are there other indicators that will help out: such as, certain trees or bushes to look for? Also, how many days of rain should there be before making the trip?

I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much, but it's pretty difficult!! If I'm going to go to the effort and risk of looking for these things, I'd like to be as effecient as possible in my hunt.

when i go down i am gonna stay for like a week and check both sides of the columbia the best i can. I am probably ganna take the first trip in early october. I cant wait for the season the start
