Pluteus atricapillus :D
    #839374 - 08/23/02 08:57 PM (21 years, 7 months ago)

This mushroom is growing in enormous amounts here in bulgaria!!!
Please tell me does she has a poisonous lookalike, some info and have you tripped on her ?
A friend of mine once told me how they went hunting, the local hunters (old gyes) told them they are psychoactiva and after they ate 20 of them theyve started tripping alot
Can this be true ?
Cause the dosage calculator shows a greater # grams for level 1 trip
peace

Stijve, Tjakko and J. Bonnard. 1985. Psilocybine et ure'e dans la genre Pluteus. In: Mycologia Helvetica vol. 2:123-129.
In French.

Stijve, Tjakko and Th. W. Kuyper. 1985. Psilocybin in various higher fungi from several European countries. Planta Medica vol. 51(5):385-387.
Using HPL and TLC methods, the authors analyzed 18 suspected species for the presence of tryptamine compounds. Psilocybin and psilocin are reported from several species.

I clipped the references fom my bibliography of entheogenic fungi and it wa chronologiallly listed. I forgot to delete the Inocybe. And it is wise to avoid the genus Inocybe becaus eof the many poisonous varieties.
