Mushroom Madness, Thank you

I just want to let everyone know that I ordered 120ml of spore solution from Mushroom Madness about 2 weeks ago. (The thing that is the equivalence of 12 spore syringes). And I must say that I was Pleasantly surprised. The spore deposits were incredible. I was able to stretch it to make 18 spore syringes. I probably could of made more, but I wanted to see spores in each syringe refill that I made (gives me piece of mind).
I will order spore prints from the Little Guy and Spore Works next. I am curious to see if their prints are really vendor quality (big and dark), or simply amateur quality (small and light). I will compare them to the prints that I take, as well as the prints I've traded with others.
I would expect the two vendors spore prints to be larger and darker than the spore prints I take or have received in trades. I will also get some spore prints from the FSRE and the Myco Network so that I can compare these spore prints to the vendor prints as well.
I will share my findings with the rest of the community.

I hope you get some good prints! Watch out for those ones where you can see lines, they are a rip-off. You can get several prints like that from one mushroom, it is a partial print. A true print would be a totally dark circle. Here is a small print of a Mr. G B+.
Notice how full it is? I got 3 prints like this off one mushroom. I could have got 20 'lined prints'!
Caveat emptor!

That is true. If anything, the ones that don't have lines to me are a bit sloppier. I've ordered from Capt'n Max before, when he used to sell only 2 kinds of prints and syringes, the Australian and Cyan. He only had a 1 page website. I ordered a few of each. His prints were VERY small, and messy, but they did the job I guess.

>people are getting tired of deceptive practices by vendors.
Ya, like getting shitty print that are just lines.
Leave the cap on the paper and let it drop ALL it's spores. Then you will have an HONEST print that has filled in between the lines.
You think people here are stupid?
I scanned a small print to show the difference, look at the pic above....you see any lines?
No, I don't sell prints boxtop ...and you don't give cultivation advice. Whats the matter, don't have any?

>not enough profit in prints Max?
There would be plenty of profit if I wan't to be dishonest, make 20 lined prints per cap and pawn them for $10 each!
A picture of a lined print may, from an advertising point of view, be better because the lines immediately bring mushroom gills to mind but if that is what is actually being sold, then it's a rip.
Just place the cap on the paper for an hour or two..'I can see lines..call it a print and put the price tag on!'
And the print I got from ryche was a solid one...not lined.
You seem upset about the truth being exposed re: prints.
Whats the matter boxtop, feeling a little guilty?

Your welcome. By they way, we practice a 1 print per cap policy. This simply means that we do not use one mushroom cap to make 5 different prints (for example).
Quality is our main goal. 1 cap = 1 print. This my friend is a standard we abide by. Everyone sets their own standards, and we will not try to dictate to other vendors how they should run their business (Different Strokes for Different Folks).
Since you are providing an objective comparison, every vendor should be jumping at the opportunity of donating one spore print to you (if they feel their spores are of superior quality). I in fact feel the spore prints we have available are of superior quality. I?m also willing to put my money where my mouth is.
What I?ll do is send you a spore print from each of our strains so you can use it to compare it to the other vendors. You should not have to come out of your pocket for simply trying to provide a quality control type of service to the community. And if you have a pet monster or an animal that likes to grow these things, I simply ask that you tell your monster or animal to donate some spores to the FSRE or The Myco Network .
And since we do not keep records, you will have to PM me your address so we can send you the prints. Would you prefer to have your prints on a glass slide or aluminum foil. (Glass slides are the easiest to work with when dealing with spore prints.)
Good Luck,

If these mystery lines are not the result of gill edges, exactly how do you suggest they are formed? Wouldnt 2 hour printing just result in light prints?? Wouldnt a print without gill lines (as much of the cells attached to the gill edge are sterile cystidia) be a sign of smudging due to access moisture?
