 Zyprexa - How does this effect shrooms?

Just curious if any of you are familiar with the anti-psychotic Zyprexa. I know it effects MDMA, basically making the roll weak and lasting less than an hour (for me anyway)
Im just curious how it effects Shrooms, weed, and/or LSD
Anyone have experiences with it?

Zyprexa s some hevey duty stuff you may want to steer clear of doing mushrooms unless you are only takeing Zyprexa for the manic stage of a bi polar disorder, If you take it for its most commen prescribed reason and have to be on it all the time then it will in all likelyhood weaken the trip on mushrooms as it is designed to stop hulucinations and apathic delusions.Schizophrenia is nothing to mess around with if that is the reason you are on Zyprexa a mushroom trip may trigger a very bad delusional episode, But its your head, just remember that tripping off anything while allrdy takeing a psychotropic medication is asking for trouble.

I know a guy who was on that and it didn't affect smoking weed. But as far as acid and shrooms he couldn't trip. Atleast on small doses like 2 hits of acid or on 2 g's of shrooms for the regular cubies.

I was on it for bipolar and delusional thoughts, etc
I will stay clear from zyprexa, I function fine without it, and i like they way my mind works

Im on it for hearing voices but they didnt diagnose me as schitzophrenic just that I had a chemical imbalence in my head and when i tripped on benadrill i heard voices and it never went away. but if I dont take my pill for 4 or 3 days can i still trip on mushrooms? because I took 5 hits of lsd and it didnt work for me and i took 15mg 2ce and that didnt work for me, would shrooms work sence its food poisoning?

Shrooms isn't food poisoning, I bet if LSD and 2ce doesn't work shrooms won't either. They all work the same way.

I used to trip all the time while I was taking Zyprexa (only 2.5 mg though).
People have also told me psychedelics wouldn't work because I take SSRIs (Lexapro & Cymbalta) but they work just fine for me. I have shroomed while not on SSRIs and it didn't seem any different, if anything less pleasant.
MDMA does next to nothing, though, if I take it while I am on SSRIs.

It is important to be cautious because some SSRI's can be very dangerous with what passes for "E" or "X". While MDMA is not known to cause problems with ssri's one must be cautious as pure mdma is very rare. some pills sold as x or e have caused problems for some on ssri's. I once had herbal "E" which I believe had harmala alkoids in it.

sorry to bring up an old thread guys but did you end up trying shrooms on zyprexa im on the same stuff n have tried shrooms a few time on it, but since being on it have bearly tripped if at all, would having higher doses of shrooms make for a better trip or does it just counteract the magic of the mushroom????

I think you'd have hard time tripping even if you took a high dose.

I'm on 30mg Abilify, 20mg intramuscular fluphentixol (fortnightly) and 15mg mirtazapine, all of which are 5HT2A antagonists, and last night I managed an interesting little trip, definitely not what it should have been but it still gets through. I sat outside and stared in amazement at fallen leaves and roses.
Try tripling the dose.
EDIT: though I have this sneaky feeling that 5HT2A was barely activated and the other serotonin receptors were responsible for the experience.
