 I Need Help/Advice - please read the whole post -

death threats agains me...
....alright everyone, this is a pretty serious matter...
as a few of you know, i lost my job recently, and my unemployment benefits ran out just last week. well i had $200.00 to my name, and i used it to bail a long time aquaintance out of jail. his sister called me and asked if i could loan her some money to help bail him out. so i loaned her the only money i had to my name, and she said she would pay me back that friday(this was wednesday 4/23)
well friday came around and she said she was bringing my money to me. never showed up. fast forward a few weeks and still no money, and now its turned into not returning my calls or texts. neither her or her brother(who was the bailee) are making any effort to pay me back.
so i called the bail bondsman, and said this guy isnt planning on paying me back, i dont care what has to happen, i just want my money back, i need it right now more than anything, and they have no intention on paying me. he said hed talk to his supervisor and see if there was anythign he could do...
so after a week of tryin to get ahold of the bailbondsman to check on the situation and see if hed figured anything out, i was calling daily just to hear him say, "i havent spoke with my supervisor yet" or "im workin on it"...
well then today i called in, and hes in a very impatient mood and told me, "alright, its been processed, were revoking his bond"
now i didnt want it to be just revoked, thats not what i had intended from the beginning, i just wanted my money and wanted him to see what could be done, next thing i know, this guys revoked the bond w/out notifying or asking me if i wanted to go ahead with it.
heres where it gets shitty, this guy i bailed outta jail is scum, he and i used to be real tight, but he thinks he can just walk all over whoever he wants. anyway, im not scum anymore. i call him to tell him that i put in a request to get my money back from the bailbondsman and that in the process they revoked his bail. so now hes threatining me with murder, and threatining to endanger my family. he knows where i live, and i know that we used to run with bad people back when we were kids, i can only imagine what kinda ppl he could have come after me now. he mostly all talk and always has been, but i dont want to find out how fulla shit he is for $200.00...
i dont live here, im just on vacation, but my family does. therefore i dont know anyone around here anymore to either get the heat off me, or watch my family when i leave...if i leave, he promises i wont make it to hawaii if he has to go back to jail. but like i said this guy is a scummy ass wigger whos all talk, but i dont want to leave my family to be harrased by him, or find out how serious he is about making sure i dont stay alive.
i need help, i dont know what kind. you guys are my home away from home, and i dont know who else to ask.

its not that simple, im moving to hawaii in 22 days and that leaves my family here to deal with any of his bull shit...
and im not a vengful person.
im just at a loss right now

Tell hi that your archiving all of his threats and intend to press charges for harassment.
Tell him that not leaving you alone is just going to make it worse on him.

Kick his ass, and tell him that if he EVER fucks with your family or friends that you will come back and kick his ass, again.

yeah, hes scum, he doesnt care about that.
his whole argument is, if i have to go back to jail im gonna make sure its for manslaughter, and like i said hes all talk, but i really dont want to find out how serious he is.
hes not gonna try and come beat me for it, cuz he knows he'll get pretty fucked up, hes a coward and would fight with a gun...
we used to be bad kids, now were all grown up, and he continued on that shit path. i shouldnt have even associated myself with him again, but i did...
this isnt my home anymore, im here on vacation, i dissasociated myself from all the scum i used to hang around with here(TX) when i moved to FL...im only here sayin goodbye to my old man b4 i move to HI...therefore, i dont even have anyone to say "hey would you keep an eye on my parents while im gone" to...

If $200 helped pay his bond he's not facing serious shit.
Take a pic of the curb with a slice of bread on it and tell him if he keeps talking shit he's gonna eat that motherfucker. Don't forget to ask him if he wants cheddar cheese or provolone.

I'm all about NEVER calling the fucking police. I think it's a terrible way to behave.
There is one exception: if someone is threatening me with physical violence. This is actually what the cops are around to handle.
The question now becomes: if you call the police, how much protection can they offer you? They might offer you more than you have now (which is none), but they also might piss this guy off even more.
Tell your family about it. Would this guy seriously come after your family? It sounds like he's only pissed at you right now. Either way he's going to jail so you might not have to worry about it, and I doubt his connections go all the way to Hawaii.
I'd say lay low for a WHILE until you leave. And stash a gun somewhere. Involving the cops could bring your family longer term protection than they have now but I seriously doubt they'll really actually do anything about it. It looks like you're on your own. At least you're leaving the continental US, I couldn't think of a better way to avoid bodily harm.

yeah, hes not really a bully, i was the bully of our group, but like i said im reformed now, and he kept hanging out with all the trash and street leeches. it wouldnt be anything for him to go and give some head a crack rock to come shoot me....
im not being paranoid, i just know who we used to be, and who he still is to this day...a wannabee gangster, with no morals or a care for this world. most of our friends that we used to hang out with ended up murdered, and this has warped this guy into thinking the world is his battleground...

Whats he going to do, spend the rest of his life in prison over a bit of jail time? He's full of shit, people that do that type of shit are usually already doing life bids. Some criminals know how to talk shit about murder, but when its game time most of them are just idle threats. I would stick to your guns and tell him to blow you.

Once a bond is revoked it's a done deal, either you repay for a new bond or it's he's going back to lockdown.
That option doesn't even exist.
