Degraftings - Lophophora williamsii
    #8363558 - 05/04/08 11:36 PM (15 years, 8 months ago)

Hi fellas!

So one of these days I felt like dobling my collection of Lophos on their own roots so I took cuttings out of my old grafts, here they are for you to check out:

Old degraftings - some well rooted guys:

Recent cuttings - 430g total of Loph.:awesome:

I hope to get another generation degrafted by the end of the next summer or so.

Lookin' good Felix!

How long do they take to root after being degrafted?  I'm also interested in knowing what your favorite rootstock is for the beauties.

I recently picked up a Pilosocereus azureus at the local Hardware store. How is it for grafting? Are they fast growers?

dont you think they are a little to close to each other? how about a little rock dressing on the top so the lophs skin really isn't coming in direct contact with the soil. it also prevents splash ups during rain when they would get covered in dirt?

They´re just rooting. They´re protected from rain by a thick glass, Lophos should not take rain.
