"Can't You Smell That Smell?"

Ok guys, this is kinda a werid question (in my mind), but I have to ask. Right now I have some casings of argentia, and tazmainians. They were all super healthy going into the casing container, which was cleaned throughly before using. The casing layer was simply a thick layer of the Miricle Grow Mositour Control (peat and coco coir from Miricle Grow) and 1/6 porportion of pellet limestone. Now here is the question, so far there has been no breakthrough of the casing layer, and it has just now been 7 days for one, but the smell of the sulfer or rotten eggs or whatever is overpowering. I dare to ask, has anyone ever experienced something like this? And if so is bad, just a byproduct of the limestone? I really need to know!
Thanks for you help Dave

"Pelletized Lime" and "Hydrated Lime" are 2 very different products. I believe you chose the wrong one and that's the cause of the problem. I could be wrong, but I don't think so.

Since alot of people use lime to kill bad smells, it may not be the lime, sounds like it has become contaminated. bluhoney

A casing shouldnt smell funny at all. If you doubt it, then it is without a doubt cantamed. I find that you will never be unsure of something for no reason.
