What is a first time mescaline experience?

Can anyone give me some idea of what it is like compared to acid, shrooms, E and 2-CI? Those are the only psychedelics I've done and I have no problem (except I get creeped out a bit on any dose of shrooms, I usually have 1 or 2 freakouts per shroom trip. Acid and E are no problem though).

Well? Any thing I should know to expect before I try mescaline?

When comparing it to other drugs, I'd say it's somewhere between a mushroom trip and MDMA. I feel that I gain more knowledge from mescaline than I do mushrooms. Theres surges of euphoria that rival, sometimes passing, MDMA. I'd like to add that sex on mescaline is great. You feel truly connected with them, especially if they are tripping to.

I agree with shamanintraining.

I'll add that mescaline seems to be a very relaxed experience (ie, less anxiety than either a shroom or acid trip). And overall I find it much more agreeable than a mushroom trip.
However I also feel that mescaline is a poor substitute for lsd. I often find myself thinking, "This is good but I'd much rather be on lsd instead".

One of the major things about first time mescaline is working out how to consume the cactus. Fresh is very bad, it tastes gross and there is a lot to eat. Tea is in my opinion in some ways worse, because the taste is condensed down and made stronger. Next time I'm going to try drying the cactus out in the oven till its a powder then putting small spoon fulls in my mouth and washing them down with a drink.

I am trying some mescaline citrate that I made. I am giving it a test run tonight, this way I understand dosage a bit better for when my buddy gets down here on his vacation in a week.
