I went for a hunt today but only found 1000's of strophs in this forest. I didnt expect to find many subs but i was hoping id find some amanita's.
Didnt find either of them
I went for a walk around my local area and found some tasty looking edibles, also found a few possible suburb patches (hopefully).
I think i might go hunt for some subs tomorrow, ive got a few places i think would be great producers.

Yeah, ive been through second valley a few times now. Its quite nice but so far from me and my income is quite limited right now. Soon i'll be able to look up towards those ways, for now its the northern hills / suburbs for me.

No one will give away hints as to exact locations where they grow, but heres some info that might be of some help to you.
-youll find cubensis in cow paddocks growing out of dung.
-semilanceata grows on grassy meadows and similar; particularly in wet, south-facing fields and other habitats well fertilized by sheep and other cattle feces.
-subaeruginosa in wood chips, pine needles, piles of leaves and woody debris in urban areas and along trails and roads in deciduous forests and landscaped gardens.
Hope that helped you a bit Happy hunting and good luck.

YAY i finally found some subs today!!!!
went hunting in a wlidlife reserve in the rain, and after about 15 mins i stumbled across a patch of subs which were growing out of a pile of decomposing foilage. Got about 15 medium to small sized ones, and left lots of pins and other small ones.
SOOO HAPPY!!!
I want to gobble them up right now but i have got sooo much uni work to do,,, cant wait until the weekend!

sollie if you search the site you will find cubensis growing in the more tropical parts of australia man in summer rains.
farmer88 in fact is one person who finds them on a dairy property in very nice form.
shroomkma also is another name you can find has hunted cubensis successfully in OZ
cope cyans (blue meanies the Proper blue meanie not what dumb fks label subaeruginosas or psilocybes in general) also grow in tropical australia too.
peace out

Cutting up shrooms into small pieces isn't the way to go i would have thought, that purple/black color you are seeing is the oxidization of one of the active chemicals (psilocin i think) that causes the blue staining for id purposes. Either that or they got fried from too much heat.
