Has anyone heard if https://www.storesonline.com/site/388422/page/45029 is any good for spore syringes? I know they offer 20 cc's but are they viable spores? I already got screwed with www.sporestore.com so any tips would be great.

I had two syringes from them, 4 CCs in each of 6 jars and only ONE colonized - and at that, there was only enough spores to colonize from a single spot in that one jar.

They probably buy syringes from other vendors and water them down, with tap water or someshit. It would explain the contams too.

So they are just a rip off. I tried 6 jars and only this 1 site started. the other side of the jar has nothing.

At least they get a  for consistency. But a  :2girls1cup: for everything that matters.

Good luck with those spores man.... you should really just put your order with ralph now and save the downtime between when you realize the jars failed and when you can start again.

Everybody says check every few days. You want to make sure your not growing something bad for a week or more. Better to catch it early and get rid of it. But the reality is, I look at my new jars every day maybe 2 times a day for the first week. But that's because I love seeing all living things grow. And when your new at hobby crap you will probably look at those jars a few times a day. Then your learn and get over it. If you have a filter on the jars your not going to contaminate anything but I would not shake or jar the jars when you pick them up to look at them

well hopefully i'll get a flush out of the 1 jar that is growing. I did read somewhere here that you can blend up the cake once it's colonized to inoculate other containers. Anyone know if that's true or not?

just checked my incubator, the jar that's colonizing is doing good still but another jar is contaminated. Looks kinda black up near my dry verm layer. 1 down, 5 more chances for success(yeah right).
