The powder is obtained when you cut up the cactus into little pieces tossing the core and drying it out then putting it in a coffee grinder.

ah ok so thats all it is. i have actually done that in the past. but as i said.. i was advised against eating it so i didnt. instead i used other cacti and made the basic gnarly juice to drink. problem was i didnt do it long enough or i didnt use enough so it was a very very mild trip if anything. this time i plan on doing it all very well so i can have a moderate to strong trip.

You cant just powder and encapsule the cacti? Or does it have to be heated (boiled) or something to be active?

You don't have to do anything to it to make it active. Actually it's suppose to decrease the potency if you boil it.

I think the easiest way to get it down would be to capsulize it after it's been pulverized. I couldn't get down the fresh cactus chips. I wasted an almost 10 inch cutting that way.
