Free gills do not suggest Psathyrella.

well that does mean to much some psathyrella have free gill maybe , you can see some new specimen did you remenber if a young specimen have pink gill anf then change to brown that will indicate agaricus for sure. and also if the stem was fragile, and the cap itself , are you sure the spore print is not black . you did notice a ring did you . sometimes is good to see all stages of a mushrooms but still think no agaricus, maybe in the coprinus area what suggest psathyrella.
all my best vibrations.

In the Coprinus above, the gills will also be pink or light colored when young. It seems like a rare find, but I can only reports from UK.

yes , but in agaricus in yung speciemn will be pink atfirts and ending browm oscure brown, in psathyrella look some what pinkish-purple at firt and end mostly black or brown or purple brown almost psathyrrella are vary variable. in coprinus are white-pinkish at first anthen end always black , and also the size of the fruit body count, most coprinopsis are small , and coprinus are bigger and coprinellus in betwen ,some liquiedfied and other not is a hole mess,
agaricus are sometimes small robust in the stemm than any psathyrella and copinunusnosisnellus complex, and they last more or the other specimen are efimerus , the smell psathyrella dont smel to notingg and coprinus smell like water , haha, and agaricus smell like something , well this what is not in my book i like to share maybe you can figure out or someone else ,

The stature of this mushroom doesn't look like any other Agaricus, I agree with Cactu that this is Psathyrella.
That Coprinus does seem to match, really looks like it but my guess is that its not that.

Actually, it IS one of the deliquescing species. You can tell by looking at the gills in this photo:
First of all, the lamelle are too closely spaced to be Psathyrella. Second, if you look at the colour of the gills where the gills meet the stipe, you can see where the gills are still barely whitish. The deliquescing species start off with white gills, and as they age the gills begin to darken, beginning at the margin of the cap, and working up to the top near where the stipe meets. Psathyrella doesn't do this, but Coprinus, Coprinopsis, Coprinellus, and Parasola mature in this fashion.

Ok good to see that you are not blindly accepting what other people say.
Your camera seems decent, get some more shots in various stages of growth.
I kind of doubt it will turn out to be Agaricus, I am thinking that Curecat has it this time.
There are some really big Agaricus and some really little Agaricus, but I haven't seen any that didn't look like an Agaricus. All the Agaricus around here is big but Cactu and I found some really tiny ones in Mexico. They were in habitats that other mushrooms didn't do too well in, they seem to have found an interesting niche.
Here is a crazy one I just found on google:
Agaricus haemorrhoidarius - Bleeding Agaricus

Found these 2 smaller ones, the older ones in the first pics had leaf fragments stuck to the cap, these are pretty clean younger ones.Gills are already dark on these ones as well.

Those look a lot more like Agaricus. Any yellow or red staining on them? How do they smell? Some macro shots of the underside would help.

No staining at all. They have a mild mushroom smell to them.Nothing out of the ordinary.

What shade of brown is the spore print?
Did you pick the pictured ones?
If so it would help to have a clear pic of the cross section, if you didn't pick them it would help to have a pic of what they look like tomorrow.
Are you sure its the same species in the last pic as the first ones?
