Can I walk into a pharmacy (shopper's drug mart) and buy them easy; or will they ask for a doctor's note?

ummm... i got mine at a local feed store. they usually just have them out and then you dont have to answer any questions. i guess you could tell em its for an insuline shot?

Most spore syringes are WAY to big for insulin (or any IV use for that matter). Just tell em your horse is sick.

I used to get them from the feed store too...I wrote down what I needed, acted a little confused, asked questions like "Can I return these if they aren't the right ones?" and claimed my Grandpa sent me because one of his horses was sick.

I get mine from the feed store as well. They have variable cc sizes and needle
lenth. I just go in and say, them there goats needs a vaccinating. Spit me a plug of
spital, pay for my syringes. Then when i am leaving i say some thing about the
weather, like if we ain't gona get any rain soon, corn won't be worth nothin but
stubs in the ground!

Funny thing here for us is that we actually *do* buy them for our horses....from the feedstore down the road from us...who needs to fib?

www.petvetsupply.com Do a search for them. They arent the good screw type tips, but they will work.

I was able to buy single 3cc syringes at 20 cents each in Shopper's Drug Mart tonight, heh. They said I could come back anytime to buy more for my grandpa and his dog
