I'm not trying to shamelessly promote my site or anything so if this is frowned apaun I'll delete the post.
But I just launched a new website and wanted some feedback on the usability and design of it if anyone has the time.
the link is:

Yeah I'm already considering changing that. Thanks for the feed back.

I think it's a creative and appealing design. I like the subtle animation in the header, and the hand-drawn images. And portfolio sites can be a little extravagant with effects so I won't give you too hard a time about the Flash and sounds (although you really might want to consider getting rid of the mouseover sounds, or at least adding a mute button).
Anyway on to the suggestions:
Using Flash to handle the display of links (as under "News Articles" and "Recommended Links") is superfluous. If you want to send a link to someone, you can't copy the title or URL. If you want to open the link in a new tab, you can't middle-click. I'd recommend you use HTML and CSS so it doesn't break standard usage conventions and remains accessible to disabled users and spiders. Also for this reason I'd kill the Flash menus and go with a CSS based solution, eg. http://www.grc.com/menu2/invitro.htm
If you don't take my advice about changing the menus, you should at least ensure the text is vertically aligned and the borders are consistent ("Contact Information" and "Freelance Information" look especially off). I might also lose the rounded corners on the drop-down menus, or at least decrease the radius. And the "T-Shirt Galleries" menu has aliasing artifacts around the corners.
There's kind of a disjointed use of fonts. Look at the "Features" subhead compared with the "News Articles" subhead below it, then compare them both with the menus. They're all similar sans-serif fonts, I would pick one family and stick with it. Change the weights and use different variants if you must.
The highlighted line "Scroll Down to View Content" is a symptom of poor usability in the design; you shouldn't need it, and on my 1280 x 800 laptop it was below the fold anyway.
The drop-shadows are highly blurred and then cropped abruptly in an ugly fashion. They're also inconsistent, eg. look at the drop-shadow under the main header vs. the "Recommended Links" heading vs. the banners right beneath it.
Those are the main things I noticed right off the bat. It mostly comes down to ensuring consistency throughout all elements of the design. Otherwise you're off to a good start, keep it up.

funny I recently tried to implement this menu in a website I'm making with a friend. I went with another css menu though that was a litle more simple (I'm a total programming n00b )
slick design, it looks realy advanced, maybe a little hectic overall, ... "where do I look!?"
I agree on the comments of mouseover sounds, they can/will be annoying (but supposably you wanted to use all available features hehe, sometimes less = more )
The dropdown menu's are a really different style than the boxed they drop down from, you might want to balance that more
keep up thew good work
