 Should I sterilize jars ordered online?

Just got some jars (PF Tek) in the mail and I was curious if I should have my wife pop em in the PC? Are they really that sterile when they come out of the box?

seriously though, if they were advertised as sterile PF jars then they're good to go.

You payed through the ass for pre-sterilized jars, they'd better be good to go right out of the box.

dont risk it PC them for half an hour and let them cool off ofcourse.
Maybe i should get my mrs to do all my work too

Why is it necessary to cook them while empty before you cook them with your substrate?

This is silly. If you buy presterilized they are sterile...if they're not sterile, then you get your money back, but you don't sterilize again!

It's not!
His question was about jars that already contain the Verm/BRF substrate and that have been sterilized before shipping.
