People speak as if though there are no filters between actual occurences and any sort of media outlet.

'We' know nothing. It is designed this way! You cannot argue that people are free. We are controlled like sheep for a reason. Thousands of years of information gathering and 'practice'. Some people know exactly how to control populations and this doesn't happen via free speech, free media, and free study. There are proceedures and designations for absolutely everything. Not anybody can just aquire 'hard evidence' and study it in a scientific environment without some sort of government oversight. And if it is, the extent to which it is disclosed to the public again, must go through certain filters. This whole world is tough and has humanity by the balls.

William Cooper was shot dead by police and just look at what he was trying to tell us in his radio shows!

That's the way I see it. Oh, and the CIA... they exist, and I know what they do has nothing to do with what the United States government will ever admit (or even truly know about, not directly linked to any ETs, but 'other' reasons). I happen to know that what they do is fucked up, and there are scars on some of my family members to prove it.

How's that for free and democratic societies?

I cannot find a single research citation, and all my web search results lead to hokey alien-obsession websites. Dr. Roger Leir claims to have submitted implants for testing, but I have not found a single verification of this. It is quite difficult to believe that a successful verification of these implants would not be all over the news and the web.

Silly Skeptic!

It is called suppression. The less evidence we have, the more it reeks of government conspiracy.

Yes, if not for governmental interference, we would all know the truth about ET's, Bigfoot, Unicorns, The Easter Bunny, Leprechauns, Elves, Elvis, Santa Claus, Gremlins, Yetis, spontaneous human combustion, and many more so-called "non-existent" phenomenon and beings.

God damned CIA!  Plus the IRS keeps us busy filling out paperwork all the time, so we cannot get organized enough to penetrate the cover-ups.

Actually, climbing a tree is an excellent way to see the forest.   Much more effective than sitting in one's living room & claiming that there IS a forest, damn it, and the only reason YOU can't see it is because you are stuck in your skeptical POV.

I have climbed many trees.  I can see the forest.  Read my posts.  You're the one who hasn't done any climbing and it seems to me like all your understanding and life experiences is quite linear if this is the way you have chosen to address me.

I happen to know that ETs exist and are very close to us.  I don't believe, I know.

Self importance.

I belive Allah is very close to us and will destroy all unbelievers. I don't believe, I know.:crazy2:

successful verification

Whats a successful id?

As I said often these objects cannot be identified. They are just unknown.

The scientists can tell you it contains these metals in this pattern and thats it. When asked for a professional opinion on what they are they just say they don't know.

Nothing conclusive can be drawn from implants.

Ok ego... say we are talking about flying elephants... instead of alien implants.

Just play along for a minute...

Veritas insists flying elephants are real.

Would you BLAME anyone for asking her to PROVE it?

What if she insists that flying elephants can't be proven to exist... even though they DO exist... because, OBVIOUSLY, science can't ever be expected to prove such a thing?

What if Veritas swore that a LACK OF EVIDENCE proves her right because like she said, science is UNABLE to prove the existence of flying elephants... and therefore a lack of evidence is a good thing?

Would you buy it?

Would you believe in flying elephants because Veritas swears they are real... no matter what science says?

Any other poster - no! But the name 'Veritas' means truth - and that is good enough for me.

What you've forgotten is that scientists are divided in their belief of the "elephants" or have no opinion. Theres plenty of scientists that are on my side of the coin.

Science itself does not state the "elephants" are not real. Science has to wait for conclusive proof such as an elephant to be captured and shown to the scientific community. As for the scientists, they are divided in opinion because of the existing evidence such as radar blips, video/photo, good witness testimony etc

If you're asking would I personally believe veritas? My answer would be I would not know unless I had seen one, so I would research the phenomena as much as I possibly could and evaluate every piece of evidence separately and make a conclusion (an OPEN conclusion) based on likeliness with available evidence.

The difference with me is I have actually stood 40-50 foot away from a floating disc shaped craft. I have seen the proof I need. I understand though that makes me biased.

At the end of the day, I'm not some crazed cult follower. I'd rather aliens were not real. The thought of them coming to this planet and doing whatever they want scares the shit out of me.

I just got thrown into this. I didn't want to see a strange craft but when it happens to you, you have to accept it. There was no doubt as to the reality of what I saw. It was as real as I am. I won't go into it too much but there were multiple witnesses, physical trace evidence etc It was not a hoax or a hallucination, nor was it the planet Venus floating above my friends house.

It was this experience that caused me to research the phenomena, in an attempt to understand what I saw. After years and years of research, I'm certain that it was more likely to be non-human in origin than human.

I can't prove anything to you guys. All I can say is the evidence is there and one day in the future this will all be common knowledge and people will laugh at our society for not realizing contact has already happened.

Why have you said this to me?

I never said they were evidence.  Read the thread again.

I said they were interesting and certainly worth studying.  I don't disregard anything all POTENTIAL evidence should be evaluated.

Why do you draw the conclusion that they ARE considered evidence?
At the moment they are just an intriguing piece of the puzzle.
Your notions appear paranoid.  Is that critical thinking?
