Interesting results. I'm a little surprised at the distribution of votes though!

Personally, I like PESA, but it's one of those "old school" strains. I guess people want the new and sexy flavor of the month..

I don't know why more people don't like Mazatapecs. Granted, they're the only strain I've grown/tripped on so far...but they are absolutely wonderful to me.
Peace,

Quick question regarding some strains. I currently have a Hawaiin Print and an amasonian tub of poo spawning. What strains are they???? because it seems to me that they`re actually other strains that have been given seperate names because of some traight? I`m sure folks now the answer to this I don`t though.

They should have a 4 week poll on the main cultivation board here asking what everyones favorite strain is.

What about treasure coast? Thats what I'm growing because they're supposed to be easy for newbies such as myself.

I've always kind of wondered what the whole fascination with larger mushrooms is all about. I personally prefer to 'grade' my mushies off of what sort of a trip they give, and to a slightly lesser extent, how well they grow (e.g. speed of colonization, average number of flushes, overall yeilds, etc) I would assume a lot of it has to do with the fact that most people think larger shrooms = higher yeilds...but from my own experience (which, admitingly isn't all that much) I've noticed that the larger shrooms are usually produced in smaller quantities, and the smaller shrooms are normally found growing in larger amounts. So it seems to me that it would pretty much equal out in the end (e.g. six one gram mushrooms is the same as twelve half gram mushies) All joking aside, why exactly is size so important to some people?

My favourites are Tassies and Argentinean cubensis - these were among the smallest cubensis i tried, but were beautiful cubies and the most potent ive tried. Id have to agree - cubensis size is all hype! Ive grown huge Treasure Coasts, B+, and i dont feel it was worth the effort. They tend to be hollow and start rotting early. short little guys are easier to work with, and the yield works out the same anyway in most cases

lol lets not start a debate here on WHY THE HELL YOU LIKE THOSE???? this is a personal preference poll, not a determination of the best strains. but to answer your question, i have never got yeilds even close to what i have on the orissa's. caps bigger than my palm, solid stems. and this was within 8 hours of the viel breaking. other than they are a little slower, they are wonderful mushies. the rest is just asthetics. i like the way they are shaped, coloring, there stately nature, and its just cool to hold a hella bigga shroom! but this is MY preference, blue meanie like his agernetina's, roadkill is the cambo god, and each and everyone here has a different taste. btw, if it helps, my 2nd fav is acadian coast, those are just beuatiful shrooms! pleasent journeys CC

Big and small, they all tend to do what needs to be done, its a matter of preference some like those out of this world experiences, while others like body buzzes. bluhoney
