When i tried registering at first the register button would just go blank and not load anything so I clicked the cursor into the password box and hit enter and it worked.

I don't know if that's the problem you guys are having though.

Alright, those of you with the submit button just saying please wait after you click it, don't click it. Someone in that WAF posted that hitting the enter key (they are on Safari like me so I don't know if it only applies to Safari users or all non-Firefox users) worked but clicking it didn't. Worked for me too.

Anyway about the Growery:

I'm not going to say I'm dissappointed because I'm definatly not. The Growery was a long time coming and its awesome. I was kinda hoping for an original layout, it turned out to be a Shroomery clone. Which is great b/c its one of the best layouts I've experienced on a board but it would have been cool to see something completely original. Oh well I can't complain, the Growery is going to be a great addition to our growing community. As long as we make the effort to keep it a safe comfortable board like we did here, no bad can come of it.

Since it is saying there is a problem with your ISP, I would assume you need to sign up on a computer connected through a different ISP. If you have Comcast, sign up on a computer connected through another ISP such as Verizon. Hopefully you can still access the forums through your current ISP after you sign up...

Me too. It took a few tries using IE but it finally worked.

Was weird. The lines in the registration box appeared orange until I filled info into them. Their color would change then but not all of them did the times the registration didn't work. The last attempt they all changed from orange and it worked. My info was the exact same each time. I made sure of that. It was the way the page responded that was random.

Even with the influx of users from the Shroomery, it's still going to take a year or so before the Growery is high enough in page rankings to start getting a flood of new users, ie an active site.

That's my bet at least, from my experience in web design.

So I don't think we're going to have to worry about the Shroomery feeling too many side effects just yet.

That sucks man. The date and being a founding member are the only reasons it mattered at all to me that I registered today. Go use a buddy's computer, a better proxy etc... Do something to get registered today damnit.

This is coming from an old school stoner who doesn't even get into the whole 420 thang. It's still just a high schooler fad to me. lol

Come to think of it... what difference does it really make in the grand scheme of things? Fuck it. lol
