Measuring peroxide concentration

Could someone please post how to calculate peroxide concentration from commercial sources.

You mean how to measure the actual concentration of peroxide vs. what it's sold as? IME it's not necesary, I've always found commercial peroxide to be close enough to the 3% it's advertised as.

But, I'll have to check later. Basically, you drop a banana in a specific amount of peroxide. The banana degrades the peroxide. You catch the oxygen it produces, then measure the volume of the oxygen. The calculation for how much oxygen = how much peroxide is what I'll have to look up later. But thats the basic procedure.

Never did it but once though, because every single time I've used peroxide it's worked the way I wanted it to. No need to fine tune the concentrations any better than good enough to work.
