Yeah man we're talkin about subs. wow, i wish half a gram did it for me. i still havn't had a FULL BLOWN trip that has gotten outta control, and i have dosed around the 7 gram mark. and that is with fan dried mushrooms, and i weigh 68kg. But like i said everyone is different.

everyone i know feels a fair bit from a single gram (properly dried), and starts tripping nicely at anything over 2 grams. my highest was 3 grams which had me tripping very hard unable to even remember the english language.

I usually go between the 3-4 dry gram mark with subs. A lot of people will say that this is quite high but eh, anything weaker and it just fucks with my head, torn between reality and a full blown trip. I prefer to have my ego ripped away from me straight away, makes the trip much easier to handle IME.

have to agree with this, low-medium doses fuck with your head too much. better off just going all the way

I really don't think these people appreciate how dangerous munching unidentified mushrooms can be. Death by chronic liver failure is something I, for one, do not ever want to take chances with. Saying that you're "pretty much sure" isn't 100% is it?

Fuckin hell, do some research man. The spore print for Psilocybes should be PURPLE/BROWN.
For your own sake, get some pictures up.

Jesus H. christ! That is really stupid man!
I hope your talking about Clitocybe odora for your own sake! Theyre not toxic but you should still stay the fuck away from them!
Why didnt you research the spore print, the habitat, the discription and ofcourse Psilocybe subaeruginosa before eating them?? Sheesh!
You ate un-identified mushrooms!
Thats how you can easily get your self fucked up if not killed!
Reasearch, reasearch, reasearch, i cant stress it more for anyone who wants to pick shrooms to eat that doesnt know anything about them!
It wouldnt be such a nice "fairytale" if you ended up dead...

I would suggest eating a healthy ammount of fresh shrooms before theyre dried out. Much better trippin.
Though dried is frickin awesome too dont get me wrong:thumbup:

That's if you can get down 30 grams or more of fresh mushroom. i know i can't.  It doesn't make me sick, i just can't physicly eat that many. i don't like the taste.

Yea at first i couldnt keep fresh down, but then i realised how much better they are.
I eat fresh with dry biscuits, and eat dry with chocolate Lol works a treat everytime, I know alot of people who eat them with Milo Haha i couldnt do that Lol

My patches have been fruiting for over a week now. I went for my first harvest today in one of them but didn't keep any of the mushrooms - I went to another suitable habitat for Psilocybe subaeruginosa (I don't think it grows there) and placed the mushroom caps flat on suitable substrates. Hopefully the spores that they are bound to shed will germinate and I will have a new patch. Let's create new patches...maybe we should spread spores all over suitable habitats in Melbourne. Think about how much we'll be thanking ourselves next year.

Does anyone know if the collection of spores requires certain procedures to be followed or is it okay to simplay take a spore print and spread those spores over a suitable substrate? I placed entire mushrooms on the ground today because I was unsure about whether spores need to be collected in a certain way so as to ensure their germination.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but is this not a hunting forum. Lets talk about hunting for mushrooms, and bash this silly person who ate silly mushrooms in another forum.
How is everyone's hunting going?

What you did is fine hyper, another way of doing it is taking the prints on foil, scraping the spores into a water sprayer and then spraying the water everywhere you want a patch.

P.S. I can see how light Ps. sub prints could be described as blue/grey, for me they only really look obviously purple/dark brown when they print over night.

Yeah like undergrounder said, id scrape spores off a print into a spray bottle filled with water and then spay your desired patches etc.. But it can take a few seasons for it to fruit. Spreadin the love:grin:

Theres been no verbal bashing here, just good warnings for stupidity such as that IMO.
Everybody is told atleast once in their life not to eat un-identified mushrooms. And for a damn good reason too! Its just some people dont listen

Terribly. I checked the two patches that are close-ish to my house today and they are empty. Either someone got to them before I did or they haven't fruited yet. Hoping it's the latter.

Haven't been back to my patch, not sure how its going. I didn't pick any so i hope the precious little spores are spread out as it was a lush area for mushroom growth.

Thats it, some patches will fruit long before others you wouldnt expect to.

As for the dissapearing patches, some do after a certain period of time, and some patches can be carelessly picked into extinction

Yea id say a couple of missions into the unknown would be a good idea. Like dreamtwin said Just for shits n giggles
