i did a first attempt with psilocybe cubensis using PF but it fail.
The temperature here is about 20ºC day 17ºC night (68-62º F) ,so i put a light bulb with temperature control to achieve 86ºF but bulb made the substrate dry.
would a aquarium heater will do the job better or maybe no heater at all ?? (No central heating system in my house)
Other thing , i brought the spores at spores101.com , is it reliable ??

I've bought 2 spore syringes from spores101, no problems at all. I'm actually growing using some "Brazilian" from them right now, and they are doing just fine.

You really don't need a heater in the fruiting chamber. From your post though, it seems you are heating the incubation chamber (which some people do).
86'F is a tad hot - if I were you, I would try to achieve 80-82'F air-temp (80'F substrate temp.) if you insist on heating.
What really works nicely is to place all your jars in a cooler and let their metabolic heat regulate the incubation temperature.
What you are considering (by using an aquarium heater) sounds like a double-tub incubator.

Also did you actually made light on the jars?

I prefer using an incubator...
the Tub in Tub(TIT) type.
http://www.shroomery.org/9844/Roadkills-TIT-Incubator
but you don't need one...
you can colonize your jars at room temp.
they just take a little longer.
86 degrees F. is a little hot...
you wanna stay at 81 degrees F. or lower.
Lets not talk about Spores101 here in the Mush Cult...please.
But yes the spores might have been part of the problem.
If you do a search on the above mentioned named X Shroomery Vendor/Sponsor... you might find your answer.

Yes i want to make a incubator to colonise the jars , because im afraid it is too cold in here ... as i said 22ºC max 17ºC min ...but tomonrrow i will post a graphic
Many people said its fine just without heat ...and yes it can get very complicated with all the cables and things......
Thanx for the help..

Heres what you do: Get a cooler or opaque (not see through) plastic tub with a lid, then get one of those 8-watt reptile heating pads and also get a thermostat controller to go with it. Lastly get a thermometer with a probe to monitor temp's and BOOM! youre in business
p.s. Put the jars on one side and the heating pad on the other side....DO NOT put the pad under the jars!!

a 25 Watts aquarium heater (3 bucks) , with water inside a pickle jar keeps steady 28ºC inside a small coleman.(outside 18ºC)
a small setup like this would work great for petri dishes i think...
i can post some pics if you want to see...
cheers
