got some shiitake blocks that are sitting on a table with a bag over them for humidity, i think they'd be much happier insie the FC. anybody think there would be any problem with putting the shiitake blocks in the FC with the cube blocks? only problem i can foresee is if they spew spores on eachother, but i pick them before that happens...

Shouldn't be a problem, assuming they both will tolerate the same conditions they will be in.

Only problem I see is that shiitake like to fruit at about 60-65, that's a little low for cubes. Otherwise, yeah.

they've just been at room temperature, where they are now, they are more around 60-65 most of the time, in my FC it fluctuates between 67 and 70.... in all that i've read, shiitake will fruit nicely between 60 and 70, i'll have them a little on the higher end on those, nd a little on the low end of the cubes, but i think it'll work... any other problems besides temps?
