These were grown on brf/verm cakes in a TiT with perlite for humidity and a aquarium air pump with a hepa filter for gas exchange.

You really should have dunked and rolled the cakes peal. Your results would have been better Anyway, they're still very good, ecpecially the Nepal/Chitwan cake.

I am going to dunk and roll them for the second flush. I was just out of verm when I birthed them.

On my first try it was Chitwan that I went with (only because those syringes came first).
My inoculation was on Jan. 5 and they (2 mycobags) are just now at 90% colo.
Since then I've switched to PF, with my other strains and had great success, now I'm casing for my first time
I'm sorry if this seems off the point, but I'm curious about your incubation time. Like I said it was my first, and I didn't do my homework, so I put 10 cc's ( 2 syringes total) in each bag.
(Please, no comments about the waste. I've read, and bread shrooms, of a couple of different strains with PF tek since then and gotten prints, so no more buying for me)
But I'd like to know what to expect when I start my next generation of Chitwans. At least concerning the incubation period.
Thanks, -P.M.-

I have not tried bags yet but it took 3 weeks for my chitwan 1/2 pints to fully colonize. PR colonized the fastest out of all of them though.

So I guess that you could say that Chitwan is not the fastest in the world.

not true i had mine in ten days......on straight long brown rice.....but im moving to grain with poo and straw.....with peat and verm casing.....the fact is the PF style doesn't have what it takes to fully release the potential of the fungus!!!! not that bulk is the way but you need more then just some garbage to get what your really looking for....and cakes are just made of garbage....

Unless you were all growing from the same agar wedge or other tissue isolate you can't make any affirmations relating to growth speed, fruit size, potency, etc.
MULTISPORE DOES NOT GIVE CONSISTENT RESULTS, it's just a lottery.
Saying that all fruits grown from say "B+" are fast colonizers or give very potent fruits is a load of rubbish.
You CAN say that your tissue isolate (clone) always colonizes fast and gives powerful fruits, but I repeat, anything coming from a spore is just pure lottery
