Ready? Go!
1)Joshua Redman/Elastic Band - Jazz in the Square (Syracuse) a few years ago 2) Daft Punk last year at Lollapalooza 3) Tool when I was like 13 at the War Memorial in Syracuse 4) Bane at one of Syracuse's New Years hardcore shows. Seen 'em a few times, always good, but this was their best 5) STS9 this past fall in Columbus
Edit: Honorable mention
Funkadelic this past winter in Columbus Ray Charles a while back, Syracuse's last Jazz Fest was downtown. Branford Marsalis last summer Syracuse's Jazz in the Square (the jazz fest that replaced Jazz Fest downtown.)
Any of those could probably take Tool of the list and bump the other two up. I was 13 when I saw Tool, so it probably wasn't really as good as I remember.

1.) Manu Chao at Bonnaroo 07
2.) Yonder Mountain String Band last week in Memphis
3.) Brazilian Girls @ Bonnaroo 07
4.) Bare Naked Ladies at Beal Street Music Fest 07
5.) and crazy as it may seem, Sum 41 at beale st. fest 07. They did a great job pumpin the crowd up, and of course it was muddy as hell, being beale street fest, so we all wrestled in the mud while they were playing. Great times, great gimes...

1. Allman Brothers in August 07 at Tweeter center in camden 2. Bob Weir & Ratdog (Same show) 3. Allman Brothers at The Beacon in March of 05 4. David Bowie December of 04 at MSG 5. Mars Volta in 05 or Nine Inch Nails in 06(not even too much of fan, went to see someone else but they kicked ass) or MF Doom in 07
Those first three are definitely the top three, i just thought about the next most memorable ones and couldn't decide
On the local scene, this band Folly, that actually has their final show this weekend, (which im attending) played a fucking amazing show in december of 06, epicness happened that night.

Based on subjective enjoyment level, in no particular order:
The Tragically Hip Pearl Jam The White Stripes Constantines Man Man
Believe it or not Pearl Jam was the most amazing of those shows. I cannot describe objectively what was so special about it. You had to be there.

#1 best concert ever was Deftones at Ufest 96 in Phoenix. There was a riot and Type-O didn't even get to go on stage. It was insane. #2 Korn, Ufest 95. Free concert, and was AWESOME! #3 Filter/White Zombie/Pantera. 96 I think. #4 Tool, Aenima tour. #5 Watching Megadeth play as "Vick and the Rattleheads" to 500 people at the Electric Ballroom in 95ish. Was an amazing small show.
Haven't been to a concert in the last 10 years or so. Got married and my music tastes changed a bit. I do want to see Portishead when they tour after 3 comes out. Then this list may change. :P

I was listening to him when I read your post.
I am just going to say a few good shows, and not rank them.

Not gonna order 'em, that would be too hard, but...
* Daft Punk @ Coachella * Bjork in Vegas * Radiohead pretty much every live show * Infected Mushroom @ Coachella * Lamb @ Coachella
Lots and lots of good shows, but I guess off the top of my head those are the top 5. I'm sure I'm forgetting something, I'm terrible at lists.
