Mushrooms + Kundalini

I would like some other thoughts/opinions on an amazing experience I had during one of my first couple of trips.
It was what can only be described as a full activation of my kundalini....except that it happened completely without warning and without any trying whatsoever on my part.
This seems insane to me, but it is what happened.
I have read many, many mushroom and DMT trip reports and nobody that I've found has had the same or even a similar experience.
What are your thoughts on the reason for this happening to me in my life? I know for sure that I became pretty much a totally different person overnight when I was having those insane solo trips. I've read that this is what happens when you activate your kundalini...if you're not ready for it then it can mess with your day to day life and you think you're going crazy, which is basically what happened for a year or two.
This is not something I have told many people about. In fact the only other person who knows is my best friend and he doesn't really understand what I'm talking about.
I can go into details of the actual experience of anyone wishes.
I would just like to hear some intellectual debate on this.

That is true. However, I feel compelled to understand why/how this could possibly have happened to me.
So would you I imagine.

You have had a kundalini experience while dosed on mushrooms? Were you pushing to get there through meditation/visualising etc. or did it just happen?

Yes. I can't even say the word Kundalini in the presence of another human being anymore.
I was definitely pushing. Probably a little too hard. I felt a physical shock to my forehead while in deep mushy meditation that scared me a little then its like all hell broke loose.

Sort of like getting struck by a bolt of pure, white energy shooting out through your spine and blowing your head open with the power of the entire universe? Like getting smacked over the head by God?
There are no words really.
I just feel so fortunate that I got there without any effort whatsoever. I'd like to say I was 'chosen' to be a recipient of this energy but that sounds too ego-absorbed for my liking. For what reason this happened I do not know, but I am grateful.

Sure.:)
Did you hear voices or experience telepathy like communication of mental imagery.
I actually saw a Christ face on everything I looked at. No religious background. I thought I was 'the One' ya know??

Yes. I definately went through a period afterwards where I pondered over wether I was in fact the One', Jesus, Buddha whatever you want to call it. It took me many months of tripping, herb smoking and contemplation to level me out and work out my place in the scheme of things (still working on that).
I didn't hear any voices at the time it happened. I do vividly remember having a vision of an endless, waving and pulsating kaleidoscopic ceiling that stretched into infinity. I was looking up at it from nothingness (or from myself). Two distinct faces appeared out of this endless coloured ceiling and stretched down towards me, as if pressing against a thin, rubber sheet so you can see all the imprints and details but not the actual object. One of the faces was of an eagle. An eagles face stretched down towards me and stretched back up to meld in with the ceiling once again. Then a mans face stretched down towards me and returned to the ceiling of psychedelic colours. No face I recognised...just a face.
Both these visions and the kundalini shock happened while in my usual meditative state that I instinctively fall into on my solo trips.

Tripping definatley losens you up & then kundalini can rise. My cock even becomes bigger when i trip as my body loses all the tension. lol
Before id even got into spirituality i was stretching while tripping and it was so easy i was like elastic, then i thought fkit ill try meditating and after meditating i took a shower, then i "saw" the thousand lotus petal of sahasrara, not with my eyes, with my eyes closed in the shower.
"it is the meeting place of Kundalini Shakti and Shiva"
I didnt know what it was until months later i read a book by Rama Maharshi which described this thousand petaled lotus flower, which led me to believe that i had activated that chakra. Its not even a belief it was without a shadow of a doubt as i had never heard of this & i didnt even know details about chakras back then, or that a lotus flower was of great significance to hindu/buddhism.
It was one of the best experiences of my life looking back on it, how many people even avid spiritual seekers can say they have literally seen the sahasrara?
After that experience meditation while tripping is a must
To people who dont even meditate but trip i would reccomend just trying meditation for even 5 minutes while tripping as there none of the hard work of relaxing, you go right into a meditative state
Nice post...

LOL not tensed like that but you know, when all muscles just relax then it all hangs a bit lower, while we're on the subject of my boduly functions i fart alot when tripping, everything just gets room to breathe (obviously apart from the other people in the room with me!) it makes me see what a tight arse i must be sometimes, when tripping its all goooood!

Rent an apartment in downtown Seattle. Never turn the light on. Only go out for coffee. Eat little else but mushroom tea. Meditate and read. Proceed for eight months. Don't forget to jump in the fountain at the Space Needle, And mind that lightning bolt sculpture at the base. If it matters the red and blue kids will be at the dock in their boats.

On one of my last mushroom experiences, I encountered what I could only describe afterwards as "kundalini rising." I closed my eyes during the most intense part and meditated, and soon felt my spine electrify and connect with what I interpreted as "heaven." It was like I was completely rooted with my spine between these two worlds of existence, the Earthly and the Heavenly. Like there was no body after that point; it was just the spine becoming the path through which energy traveled, eternally, from lower to upper, and upper to lower. Everything became connected through this. It was ferocious.
I also do kundalini yoga so I guess I had the knowledge to facilitate such an experience.

'I also do kundalini yoga so I guess I had the knowledge to facilitate such an experience.'
I was so unhealthy at the time... And simple.
'It was ferocious.'
I felt I had tapped into zero point energy or something.
Everything was talking to me in metaphors.
I flipped on the TV during this experience and it felt like every news bulletin was a metaphor for my internal state of affairs.
Literally... News Anchor: 'The man has plugged himself into the computer...'

I know exactly how you feel. I see all these people looking to religion or a guru for spiritual enlightenment and all they have to do is chow down on some mushrooms. If only they knew.
The description of being fused from your spine to heaven is a very good metaphor. It was much the same for me. As soon as it happened I didn't even have time to wonder what was going on, my spine just bolted me upright and I leaned my head back on impulse and the light/energy that shot out connected through my mouth and it was as if I was swallowing all the light and power of the universe. I had no awareness of my surroundings, only an orgasmic sensation pulsing all the way through my body from this light rod that was electrifying my whole body.
If you are interested in this then I would definately recommend a high dose of mushrooms and meditation. It's as if these meditation and yoga techniques were originally used with psychedelics. Whereas the people of today practice the techniques but don't have the fuel to drive the engine. It's very simple really. And quite astonishing I think that things like this are not only real, but are available to everyone, as long as you are willing to take the plunge.

Of course, I'm not saying there won't be problems ahead for the person that goes ahead with this. You have to be willing to change your identity and forget all the things you think you really know, because you don't
It will fuck your life up for a period of time, unless of course you live on your own in the mountains or something. People will probably think you're losing it. But it's ok. Once you're through the integration faze you are home dry. If you make it that far.
I know I had sever depression at times and thoughts of suicide, thinking I was insane etc. etc. It's not easy.
I'd like you to elaborate on your sexuality taking on a mind of its own if you would. You mean in the sense that all options were open to you after that experience and you realised no fantasy or sexual act is actually bad as long as you're not hurting anyone? Or am I way off?

I think you are right on, but I was just a country boy in the big city and my genitals were stuck in heaven. It seemed that everything and anything would start that swirling energy down below.
Crazy. This morning I had a doctor's appt. I got to talking to him about the experiences I've been through. He seemed intent on making me believe that... 'This is what happens when there is too much Dopamine in your brain from doing too many drugs. It fries brain cells and it takes time for new cells to regrow around the damaged areas...'
WTF??
I have to weigh this as a possibility. Kundalini or brain damage?? Some duality I find myself in these days.

I never knew that frying your brain cells could cause such an intense experience.
I suppose I'm running on back-up brain cells now then. Heh.
Not sure I'd have the balls to tell my doctor all of my experiences traveling through hyperspace and beyond. Never mind my actual thoughts on what it all meant and my real view on reality. I'm too fearful of them throwing a net over me and locking me away. I know exactly how they think and how they think I think. I know they would try and place me in a category that feels comfortable to them. Most likely under the schizo label.

And there you go. I just smile and nod.
I've actually had one other person, a psychiatrist open about his LSD use, tell me that the intense mental activity breaks down the Mylan sheath.

You know what, Ram Dass said that few mystics he spoke to speculated about the start of eastern religion was from trying to recreate mushroom experiences by the original yogis in india, beefore language and they just used the vibratory sounds to recreate shroom experiences.
Vam, Lam, Ram, Yam, Ham, Om, Aum activate the kundalini chakras fomr bottom up...try it now its great, feel the vibration of each sound in your body. Vam should be felt in your root and Aum at your crown, the ones inbetween are more sensitive to "feel" them...
Kundalini most certainly feels like connecting earth with heaven but i wouldnt recomend shrooms to people wanting kundalini experiences as you can get there on your own aswell.
A few days after a shroom experience with a bit of volcano vapeped green i find is a great time to unlock some kundalini... i never intentionally do it while tripping, i did once and woke up 45 mins later, feeling unbelievably refreshed but quite dangerous as i could've hit my head on the edge of a desk or something.
