Using a salad shooter to chop straw ..

Anyone ever used this to chop the straw into little short flaks? You could make a nice verm straw cake..just ordered on so I post when I try it out...The Pans

will love it I think.

good luck with that man. I usually just cut it up with shears. But it this works better congrats.

Would probably work, as long as the straw was soaked first. Dry straw might just clog the blades up. Try it though, couldn't hurt...
