i spent all my cash but still need to get humidity up. Its about 80% atm but it still needs to be higher and i heard that you could just put jars of hot water around the place to increase humidity??? does this work???

First what are you using? Straw, shit, grain, cakes?

I would say: use the perlite tek;
put a layer of wet perlite in 100% air sealed boxes (rubbermaid or tupperware).
thats it.

If money is a problem then the cheapest way is hand spraying. A spray bottle doesn't cost much at all and it's quite easy to do, just don't spray your cakes directly. If you have casings instead of cakes you really don't need to worry about humidity as much, the casing layer takes care of that for you as long as it stays moist. I wouldn't bother with the jars of hot water though, will screw up the temperature of your whole setup, since the water cools off the temperature will fluctuate alot and very little, if any humidity will be added...
