no i'll just deal with it. i'm not gonna sweat all this shit until it falls in my lap. and when i have a heaping, steaming pile of shit in my lap i'll just change my pants & boxers and go on with life. i really don't care about things like politics, economy, whatever. does that sound shitty or something? i live my life and i don't really give a shit about the rest of the world.

thats nothing. wait until there is a collapse, the wealthy buy up most of the available food and we are left to fend for ourselves.

i can't wait for the economy to break down tbh. i think the lifestyles we lead are ridiculous. slave 8 and a half hours a day only to spend it on the same shit every week. food, gas, bills, pleasure. the idea of hunting and gardening to eat and kicking a lot of ass to succeed sounds totally awesome to me. i've thought this over a few million times and it ends the same in my mind every time.. i'm ready for society to fall. the day government means nothing and law is nothing but words on paper.
that is what life should be, we're too spoiled. but until our economy collapses and we do it big to teh man, i'm in a ratrace to better my situation. i'm trying to get more money, nicer shit, and generally do my thing and not get overly concerned with everyone elses.

I agree with you, but when the "collapse" does happen, your money will be useless.

oh i know, but until then i gots money on my mind. everyone needs to get the hustle in their blood, if people would stop caring so damn much about everyone and everything except what is their own we would be so much better off...
but we live in a pussified society where we sit and watch britney spears spiral out of control on Entertainment Tonite. i really loathe american culture in particular.
but yeah, i'm so not sweating anything. life is too short, stress kills you. i can honestly say the only thing i give a shit about is myself and my world. that sounds selfish but hey, i am myself. i'm all about me, fuck you.

It would be wise to prepare regaldless of how it can be. Buy soil and plant fruit, vegetable, and other seeds. Have a large storage of Distilled Water. Have up to 50% of you saving in silver/gold/gems. And be enlightened.

I'd rather invest in steel, copper, aluminum, etc...
Not sure, but I think their prices are rising faster than gold.

I'm begging for an economic collapse or at least a severe depression. Maybe it'll wake some people up. Everyone's too busy playing their goddamn x-box's to give a shit about the problems in this world. Let's see em' play that shit when the lights go out.

WHen the electricity goes out everywhere, there's no going to be no such thing as rich vs poor, educated vs. uneducated, criminals vs citizens, it's going to be a free for all.
Anyone who says they're prepared for a total economic collapse is full of shit. You people seem to think that your way of life is going to stay the same but without the system fully functional. Sorry people, your way of life is the result of the system!
"I don't care about an economic collapse". Like I said before, when you lose access to all your pleasures and food and basic necessities, you're going to freak.
What are you guys going to do when the dollar isn't worth shit and you can't pay rent or your parents can't afford the house payments and you guys are evicted? YOu're just gonna deal with it then and go up into the hills? Horseshit.
And all you survival freaks, while it's a good skill or talent to have, have you guys ever sustained that skill for an extended period of time? And did you guys go into survival mode packed with materials you purchased while a part of the "system"?
All I'm saying is that 99.99999% of America in the last 100 years has been a part of the system. 99.99999% of the AMerican public has no idea what it's like to live outside or without the system.

I don't have to run to the hills. I'm here now. I own my own land so I can't be evicted and I've got enough guns & ammo & family that nobody can take my land from me short of a small army. I truly do not give a fuck.
As far as food goes, I've raised gardens before and there's enough deer around here to feed a small nation. I guess I'm in that one percentile.

After the collapse of society, where are you going to buy parts for your guns when they wear out?
Can you make your own gunpowder?

Parts? I've got a few guns that have been passed down for four generations. They've never needed parts. I've got loads of ammo. But it doesn't matter. I'm sure I'm a rare example. I guess it's just the one and only time I've seen how living out in the sticks in southern Virginia could be a good thing.
