beautiful pinset!

Hi guys, I recently switched my very first growing project (PF cakes) to a perlite terrarium instead of my previous ultrasonic humidifier setup. After about a week in the terrarium, at 74 - 78 degrees and near 100% humidity, I have an absolutely beautiful pinset on all 13 cakes. I have about 40 to 50 pins on each cake, covering the sides and the top. They are all a soft white with dark brown little heads. Some of the bigger ones have begun to turn a little yellow.

All in all I am very excited! This is my first ever grow, and my first experience with mushrooms at all (havent taken them yet either) and I'm pleased with what looks to be a good first flush. I did not dunk these cakes after birthing so I am happy that they are going to do well anyway. Now I have a couple questions:

After I harvest in about a week ( I assume a week, the biggest pins are about an inch long and haven't begun really turning shroomish yet), I plan to dunk the cakes. Can I do this if there are still pins on the cake? Will it hurt the pins?

I hope to get some pictures up soon, but I don't have a digital camera yet so I'm sorry about not having any! Anyway, I'd just like to thank all of you guys for inspiring me to do this, its feels really good now that I now its all becoming a reality.

I would clean the cakes of all pins and aborts before you dunk them.
