After seeing one three times a week for the last month I have finally been able to move my wrist without pain for the first time in three years. Any miracles or horror stories to share?

Wow! That sounds crappy man. Glad you were able to get some relief.
I've had no need for a chiropractor so far but I hear there's nothing better than a good one and nothing worse than a bad one.

Thanks man, yeah he's a good one. I didn't need to sleep on a board afterwards or anything. I really thought I'd see an acupuncturist before taking my chances with one.

I have been experiencing some sort of upper back/lower neck imbalance/misalignment lately. I've been thinking about trying a chiropracter. I'm iffy, though. We'll see.

One time a chiropractor popped my back so hard I almost shit on his table.
I think I was like 2 inches taller when I left.

I was in a car accident, and ended up with whiplash. I went to a chiropractor, and he fed me some bullshit about several of my vertebrae were "out of place". Since the accident was not my fault, the visits were paid for by insurance, so I figured I might as well give it a try. I was pushed and pulled and squeezed and cracked and every time I went, I would end up in serious pain for several days up to a week after my visit. Then, I'd start to feel a little better, with less back pain. Then I'd go back, and he would do it again, and I'd be in serious pain for another week.
Since I was a still a teenager when this happened, my parents forced me to go to this chiropractor every two weeks for about a year. I don't think he did a DAMN bit of good.
I don't see how there is ANY POSSIBLE WAY that they can be cracking your bones around with ANY accuracy whatsoever. When they crack your back by squeezing or putting pressure, its not like they can control exactly what bones are moving around and where they are going. Its total bogus medicine as far as I'm concerned.
I'm glad your wrist is feeling better, though....

I have 1 leg shorter than the other by .68 inches.
A visit to the chiropractor every now and then is just what the Dr ordered.
