Hello

Soon comes my birthday (4th of September) and I think of asking dad to bye me a device for growing shrooms
Ima be 15 so I cant bye it on my own and have to use the moment
I dont want to be a dedicated mycologist but bye the ones that are ready and you just have to inject the spores...
Tell me is that enough ?
this thing,spores,what else ?
is it really that easy ?
where can I get the spores from ?
is it worth it ?

If you want a "device", I would say buy a Hydra-Pod. Otherwise, buy the stuff recommended in the PF Tek.

as mickey said the hydra pod would be your best bet if you wanna get good results without a lot of effort. spores can be found all over the site, there is usually an advertisement for a vendor at the top of the forum page. or check the faq as MechanicalMan said

I agree with you somewhat, about him being to young.

Im only 16 myself, but i consider myself very mature, I have experience growing marijauna, and this is a HOBBY to me, not just some way of getting close to free drugs.

Im new here too, but my advice would be to start with the PF tek like everyone else, dont try and cop out. Put effort into it, and hopefully itll be worth it, if not you learned a lesson and can try again.

You dont sound to take it too seriously, I hope you do, good luck!

OK people,
think about what your doing.......
your giving a MINOR advise on how
to grow mushrooms. Now I am all
about freedom and being able to consume
what ever you want, but as an adult. Kids
have enough crap to worry about without
mixing in mushies. Maybe he should put
this much time into school instead of
mushrooms. That way later on down the
road he can aproach them with knowledge
and maybe even gain more.
Just a thought.....

Now a hydro pod is a waste of money IMHO. The best thing to do is tell your dad that you will be growing hallucinogenic mushrooms with what he is buying you, because if you get bust he will lose his house and will be proceuted. This is very serious.

But if you have his permission and he knows the risk, heres what you should have him buy.

A pressure cooker: any kind that gets up to 15 psi.
Canning jars
some millet at a feed store
and some rubbermaid bins the bigger the better.
Thats all really.

if you want you can get a finsh tank heater to submerged in a container of water. This makes an effective incubator for your jars. just put in a card board box or something.

Not neccessarily a bad idea. It is actually probably a really useful tool, if you have the money. But otherwise the cheaper method is what I would use. for the pod you don't have a lot of room for bulk, mainly for cakes. if you have rubbermaids you can have a ton of bulk subs going. I was just stating that you can get a full set up for $50 or less thats all.

Good luck with what ever you choose.

Toad- Perhaps where I'm from parents react differently to children drug use than in bulgaria, but wouldn't your parents be pissed at you doing shrooms in the 1st place, and be really furious if they found out you were growing them? I don't know anyone who's parents not only dont condemn drug use, but would be willing to help their child grow them.

i agree with the fact that toad might not want to do it for the sake of an easy outlet for some drugs 'cause i've seen a lot of ppl that's done that and only had some not so great results 'cause their hearts aren't into the growing... just the product and the easy way.
better idea to save those pennies to buy from dealers rather than supplies that might not get you very much mushrooms.

but i HAVE however managed to convince my parents to let me grow mushrooms in the house.
i told them that they were just a hobby and that the mushrooms are poisonous.
but then my parents are rather gullible.

of course my parents are against drug abuse but i ve speaked to them alot about weed,shrooms,even datura,belladonna;They know I love shrooms that are beautiful but poisonous.Ima tell them its only as a hobby - as you did - and just cause I like beautiful shrooms,and want be more advanced mycologist

And I cant bye from dealers cause shrooms are not famous in BG so I think Ima bye that Hydra Pod shit
