Well here's what i want to do. Build my box, whatever size I decide on and cut the holes for the gloves. I'll seal the box and have the lid attach w. hinges and two clamps on the front. Lining the top part of the box and the underside of the lid will be adhesive rubber strips to ensure a tighter seal. I will cut a big space in the top of the lid for a plexiglass window. I will then put a desktop sized hepafilter unit inside the box for air sterility. My only question, besides will this design work, is if I need an extra hole covered by a hepafilter patch for the unit to suck air in to sterilize, or will it just sterilize the air that's in there even in it's sealed? Thanks for the help everyone!!!

u should see the 'economy' glowbox ive made myself......
i got an old yamaha speaker box.... bout 1 foot tall, 2 foot in lengh, 1 foot deep.
i chopped the top of the box off so it was just open, then i lined the whole thing with a black bin liner and stuck it tight.....i then cut 2 holes for hands and attached a 10cm piece of the bin liner (made into a tube for hands to go down), when i need to use it i place everything into the box and cover the top with cling film/ seran wrap i think u americans call it?....then i slap on my mums magnolia gloves and off we go.
i tried to attach the gloves to the bits of bin liner but when i came to putting my hands into the gloves it tended to rip the liner cos the gloves were tight.
ill get a piccy in a bit maybe (prepare for a laugh)

sounds like a lot of work. you can make a glove box out of a plastic bag or cardboard box if cash is limited.
good luck though

Many of the smaller "hepa" filters do a rather poor job actually filtering, and some even have incompletely sealed sides (around the filter) so completely unfiltered air gets by..
