A lot of the really quality bud around here comes from northern Cali, particularly Humboldt. I'm gonna take a picture of this stuff I have right now, from none other than Humboldt county. It's amazing. Sorry to op for getting off topic.

I hear that boomers, it was only less than two weeks ago here we were in the single digits. Today at dawn it was 45!
I lived in and around Seattle for a couple years but I came back home to Michigan this year. I was dreading the winter like you wouldn't believe. But actually it wasn't too bad, it makes spring all the better. There could be no pleasure if there was no pain.
Back to northern michigan, it was been raining hard for 48 hours now. Also this is the longest yet it has stayed above freezing. I have a good feeling there is all types of stuff in the ground waking up right now. Waking up and having a good stretch toward the surface...

Nice trees man... Yeah, I'm ok with, I don't own this thread or nothin', just really jealous. That is the one thing I miss the most about living out west. Michigan isn't really known for good weed.
When I first got out to Washington we found a BCster connect and I was raving about what great nuggets he had. He looked at me like I was crazy. I grew up referring to any weed that wasn't compressed as 'kind nugs'.

Yep, we get pretty spoiled in the west. BC bud here is the shitty bud, with the majority of the good good coming from WA, OR, Cali, and local. Well, at least your spring is springing before ours. It snowed about 4 inches here in town yesterday, so it looks like the middle of winter here still, with temps not getting above the 30's for a few more days, but it looks like some warmer weather is heading our way, perfect for the weekend, I'm a goin flyfishin for sure!!!

Well, more signs of spring up here in the north end of the mitten; my garlic is up!! This means the wild leeks will be soon to follow!
Me and the Mrs. camped out last night for the first time this year. It got down to 25 but wasn't too terrible when the fire was going. This morning the song birds started promptly at 6(seemed a bit late, but it's still early in the year). We were surprised to hear what a great diversity of birds have come back already; we heard chickadees and nuthatches(which are usually early to return), robins(which have only been back a week or so), blue jays, cardinals, crows, a lone gobbler looking for a wife, a brown creeper, and probably more that we couldn't identify. It is 45 today and I think I can say with confidence spring is here.

I'm insulted by your slander of Michigan kind bud. I've lived in a number of states, visited many more, and while the dirt weed in Detroit is among the dirtiest indeed, the sweet buds from that city known as the ganz are a citrus bouquet of mellow mood bliss. The scientists in Ann Arbor also crop up everything from closet grown purples to cannabis cup award winners to big money varieties, grown in everything from soil to the latest aeroponic setups. And head out west to the stix a bit and experience the wonder of secret local varieties, grown by three generations of farmers during the fertile Michigan summers.
While its perhaps true that California is known for good buds, its totally a load of shroomy cow dung to imply that Michigan does not have good trees of its own.

hey b3 , are the blue jays in Michigan mean as hell? when you walk under or next to a tree with blue j egg's in it around here they swoop at ya!! and their call is the loudest. then more come in and attack. I've never seen such a close network of birds in my life. i make a living cutting down tree's so my experiences are probably different

The Blue Jays around here aren't nearly as bad as the Steller's Jays out west. Those things are mean and fuckin noisey.
And about the weed du891er, I must admit defeat. The ganz is some of the best, cheapest weed there is anywhere. And where else but Detroit can you find a 3 dollar bag?
I am biased comming from the northeast side of the state, the weed is terrible around here, and seems like it always has been. Expensive too. If I could make the trip down to A2 or Detroit every time I needed a bag I would be a much happier camper.
