ive been clean for 2 whole months as of today. i was a 5 year bud smoker and quit cold turkey. (cause i have to go to court. gotta show them a clean piss test to make myself look like a good human being)
never was a cigarette smoker, just a pothead.
so who else here is a NON smoker?

I quit weed a few years ago, it was no problem. Just stopped enjoying it. Quit cigarettes (I was never a huge smoker, probably like 4-5 a day at worst) a few weeks ago with no problem as well. Still an avid hookah smoker though.

I quit weed simply because I can not afford to buy it.

I quit cigarettes last weekend. Although I never smoked many cigs on their own, only joints with tobacco, I was still an addict. Even worse than the way they made me feel was the guilt trip I would lay on myself every single day. Now I am happier and very pleased with myself for giving up.
Since then I haven't smoked any weed either, and I have been getting up earlier, feeling fresher and generally having more time in my schedule for my hobbies. I'm not giving up weed altogether but I think from now on it is definately going to be a weekend thing. I'm just hitting the bong until I can afford a vap.
I'm pretty sure I'm done with pills now too.
Going to the gym and taking pride in your body helps A LOT with giving up anything.

EDIT: (5 year daily tobacco/weed smoker. Thats UNFILTERED tobacco.)

i used to smoke weed since i was 15 i stopped smoking everyday when i was like 19 or 20 because i didnt like it. im 23 now and want to pick it up again because i hate hangovers and waking up with bloody shirts.

I quit smoking pot nearly five years ago, although I did smoke a couple of joints with my brother a couple of years ago (it was one of the shittiest days of my entire life) - which I enjoyed but not enough to want to go back to it, it felt like a final fling with an old flame.
I don't smoke anything now, other than the occassional Salvia experience - and I haven't done that for a while.

I don't smoke anymore because I get drug tested. I did smoke this past Saturday night though, I had just taken a drug test earlier that day and went to a party and toked up with some folks while I could. It was the first time I had smoked since probably the beginning of January.

i smoke cigarettes off and on, but never more than one a day and almost never day after day; i haven't had any since saturday nite when i went to a show at a bar, although i did smoke 4 on saturday...roll your own, though

I looked around myself and couldn't help but notice that the people who never really succeed in DOING anything, whether that be career wise or creatively or intellectually, are the people who smoke weed all the time. Being that I am at a place in my life where I want to start getting shit done, as much as possible, I am on a break from ganja. Maybe permanently, I dunno. It is hard, I often feel like getting baked especially when I listen to music. So pleasurable!

the only thing ill smoke now is DMT, but thats EXTREMELY rare. i was never a big drinker, but ill drink here and there. but i never get trashed. i just like to get a nice buzz on. got a nice script to klonopin which im trying to up today to more pills, higher mg, or xanax/valium. and im always doing a lot of acid.
my bud smoking days are over for quite a while. but im happy not being a pothead anymore. always will be one in my heart. just not my lungs. i feel so much better not getting high all the time.

Man I have not quit but am about to. When I got my taxes back the beginning of Mar, I got a half a pound of some decent regs and just basically had one goal.
Break even and smoke all I could. which I did. At the end I didnt even really get high at all and hated that paticular weed. I got too use to it and tired of the same stuff everyday.
Usually if I got some I will go to bed and wake up like all happy, like oh yeah I got a little, time to Wakey Bakey. But not then, even when I had enough to smoke for days. Now its gone I broke 100$ over even, and really dont even want to look at regs.
Or weed at all for that matter unless it is some phenomonal shit, because it dont do anything for me and only makes me smoke more and more and more to enjoy it.
