Lactobacillus Acidophilus
    #822274 - 08/16/02 10:48 PM (14 years, 3 months ago)

I went into GNC tonight looking for ginger/papaya pills for my friend (the one I talked about in the Pepto-Timing post)

When I walked to up to the register with my selection, the girl behind the counter, got this bright look on her face.
"Stomach's upset?"

"Yea?"

"Have you tried Acidophilus?"

I was like.. oh shit.. what's this crazy bitch talking about :P
Anyway, she went on to tell me that it's this bacteria, the 'good' kind that resides in your stomach/intestines. But that she *SWEARS* by it for general upset stomach, and other lower GI problems. She said it's multitudes better than papaya/ginger.

Now... I was like.. yea.. whatever.. but she said I could try it for 3 months and if I didn't like it, bring it back for a free refund, no questions asked, even if I only had 1/4 of the bottle left.
Sold.

So, does anyone have any experience with this and mush consumption?
If no one does, I'll let you know how it affects my friend.

That is all *nod* ^_-

I don't believe it's an uncommon thing...
But, I know personally when my friend shares the ones she gets, I *sometimes* get upset stomach. Maybe this will help me too :P

She flat out pukes.

Enzymes, such as l.acidophilus helps you digest food ..It is a good "parasite" and eats all the bad stuff in your colon..

If your going to take this, such as GNC's Multi Enzyme formula, you should also take a fiber supplement.. This clears out your system when you crap and helps your stomach when you get "nervous."
You dont want to get a stomach ache and have to crap before everything comes on from mushrooms..Wiping your ass while tripping may fuck you up a bit!!!

Try GNC's "Colon Care formula" + "Multi-Enzyme Formula." They are blue bottles...

Everyone is different of course..It all depends on your eating habits...

You know, after reviewing this post it sounds a bit disturbing! "Wiping your ass while tripping.." now there is something you dont want to do!!

haha...

My previous post also applies to upset stomach- "I am going to puke.."

The GNC combo does wonders for both an upset stomach and upset bowels..
