Ok I hope I got peoples attention..
anyways, there's this new song by Smash Mouth called "Pacific Coast Party" I heard it for the first time a few days ago on the radio (I always listen to the radio so this song I'm presuming is a new release) and I was fucking tripped out on some botany (It had to be fucking laced) and I think it would be a great suggestion for a sweet trip.
Has anyone else heard it, and if so, what do u guys think?
the other night, I felt like I was tripping when this song played. It will be one of the many special memories that I keep in the back of my mind, and sometimes I think back and say, "I remember the feeling and atmosphere and song that played on one of my stoner moments"
I live in Ontario, Canada listen to 93.1 Energy FM (I think it's a Barrie or Orillia Ontario station) *for all you Ontario residents* I think it's a better station then some of the Toronto stations. It's becoming a very popular station now. I remember when they changed the whole format of the station. What a fucking great change.
I want to become a radio broadcaster (I have for a VERY long time) and I want to get into that station lol.
so 2 questions, the song I mentioned and your fav radio station.

I was about to ask you for the last 5 seconds of my life back until I saw your second question. I?ve found a lot of cool radio stations?well, a few. I really don?t listen to online radio as much as I should. Anyhow, I would have to say that my favorite station is KCRW. But judging by your first question, we aren?t going to like the same stations. Frankly, it shouldn?t be too hard to find about a million radio stations you like if you want to hear stuff like Smash Mouth. 
Unfortunately, online radio is starting to disappear. A lot of places have taken their streams down, and some of my stream links (like Studentradio'n i Trondheim) are always dead.
BTW, everyone is asleep. I'm sure you'll get some responses later.

i just downloaded the song....didnt really like it. the first line is the same first line in steppen wolf - born to be wild. the only song i ever reallly liked from smash mouth is walkin on the sun, not too sure why just sounds kinda good...

I have listened to stations in London, Ontario, Toronto, Barrie, Midland (sucks lol) North Bay, and Brampton and I think that 93.1 energy fm is awesome. I havn't gotten into radio that much since a few years ago, and then I started listening to different stations (I listen to radio stations mostly in the summer) and this one is one of the best I have heard in a long time. I remember listening to this station while I was at work and it lifted me up

They make me listen to the damn radio at work, and its all I can do not to ritualistically disembowel myself over the mop sink. I swear, if I hear "Complicated" by Avril Lavigne one more time I'm going to flip out and blow up the radio station. It doesn't help that its a few blocks from my apartment and I walk past it every day.

o.... smash mouth...... you got me all excited when I read Smashing Pumpkins.
I'll download it anyway and see if I like it... doubt I will. I find they're music somewhat.... pop-like (which they are) and I just hate that.

There aren't any good stations where I live either, but luckily I'm never forced to listen to them. I read some articles about radio in the mid 90's, and it was really kind of sad to stop and think about what has been happening. Eventually, there probably won?t be any decent privately owned stations left?.not that there are many right now.

The only kind of radio stations i can stand to listen to are ones that play classic rock. The new mainstream music is annoying to say the least. Listening to that shit while i trip kills my state of mind. Anyone else agree??

haha well some people are into different genres of music, so this song would be kinda stupid to them, but it's uplifting. I read a thread about tripping on pot, and the pot was THC-8 for sure.....(you'll understand if u read the thread) and I tripped out large and this song sounded amazing, and I really like it lol
I love all types of music, and yes to the one comment, if they do play complicated again I will also blow up the radio station (this is another station that over plays songs big time, and they make me listen to that one at work!) Grrrr!
