I am noticing a slight yellow hugh to a few of my birthed cakes. They have been in the terrarium a litlle over 5 days, no signs of pins yet. should I be worried abot the yellow, it doesn't jump out at you but there is def a off white yellow hued color on about 4 of my cakes

Yellowing may be a sign of old or dying mycellium perhaps from a lack of nutrients. It's not contamination though.

Yellowing ... not contamination though.

Many contaminates are yellow... Aleurisporae, Fusarium Culmorum, Epicoccum, etc.

You are correct that yellowing may be a sign of old or dying mycelium (senescent). It can also be a sign of too much moisture or waste excreted from the mycelium.
