unlocking the mushroom cultivation subforums

I recently found inaccurate advice given in the mexicana and tampanensis forum but realized I was unable to reply and correct it, is there anyway we can unlock posting new threads/replying to old ones?

No, but you can notify a moderator or administrator about the exact issue and they will correct or add to it.

Why aren't the archives just kept as an active forum?

It'd really improve the search function there.

Workmans been here a long time with some excellent grows and I'm not even really saying he's wrong here but he says:

I just wanted to chime in and really stress the importance of a casing layer regarding p. mexicana, it's a requirement. Cubensis is optional but if you want anything more than a few mushrooms with Mexicana you NEED a casing layer.

The threads in the archives are quality posts to help people learn how to grow better...

we pick which threads go into the archives.

and people adding comments to them really isn't going to improve the quality of them at this point.

if they wanna ask any questions about anything in the archives they can make a post in the Mush Cult forum and someone will address it.

and if there is a thread that you or anyone else would like to have added to the archives...

just let us know.
