Woooo, that's pretty! I wish I could have afforded a bigger one (I have the AA 10.5q) but I do ok with it for now. If I want to expand in the future, I will just save up and get one of those self contained autoclaves...

Looks great!
But to be honest I dont understand why people splurge on these things. I paid 95 shipped for a 23Q pressure cooker off amazon, new.

Yeah, but was it an All American?
Those Presto and Mirro cookers don't even compare to an AA cooker, they are just not in the same league IMHO. Not to say that they suck, its akin to the comparison between a Ford and a Mercedes they both work just fine and will get you what you want, its just with the Mercedes you get there in a little more style and comfort.
Even though its on the small side, I love my AA!

When you need to pressure cook 50+ jars at a time it helps greatly. A 23qt cooker only holds 7 qt jars i believe. This one is a 30qt.

OP- What does your bragging/drooling/etc have anything to do with the CULTIVATION forum? This thread is just a waste of space. Seriously.
Professor Angstron: Does the AA reach a more superior 15 PSI than a Presto? You are implying that an AA somehow does a better job at pressure cooking... please do explain.

Well, Mr Wannabe-Thread Expert smartass, its kinda funny that you actually took the time to waste space with your shitty post in a thread that you have summarily judged as being a "waste of space".
And since you are incapable of figuring out what I was talking about with the PC, I was talking about build quality. I didn't say that other PC's wouldn't do the job, and since my statment was "IMHO" then it seems to me that you are a fucking troll who needs to be put in his / her / its place.

Yes, the All American pressure canners have a little something extra that allows the device to achieve the optimal 15PSI Ultra®
in reality, the AA is just a superbly built product, the bottom is an inch think allowing for more even heating, it's all machined aluminum with a metal to metal seal, it means you'll never be stuck trying to locate a gasket at the last minute and having to wait several days to have it shipped because the company discontinued your last year
the town I live in has a lot of antique shops, you'll see the occasional Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry pressure canner go through there, most still sell for $100 or better, many of them are 50+ years old and still in good working condition so when his grand kids decide they want to grow some mushrooms, it'll still be around

Nice flame.
I don't quite understand your immediate urge to start a flame war and go ape-crazy on me simply because I pointed out that a thread about a new pressure cooker doesn't belong in the cultivation forum.
I do understand you have an AA PC, and you apparently have a great love for it, and will defend it with all your strength. But this is ridiculous!
You seriously need to relax a bit and not start flame + rating wars. I've been a member of this community for nearly seven years and never had an encounter with anyone like you and your lackey below you. As both of you decided to rate bomb me and start a flame war, simply because you don't like my question to you.
