what level are my trips?

i keep seeing reference to different level trips....1, 2, 3, etc.....can someone explain to me excactly what constitutes each trip, so i kno wwhat your talkin about? i kinda get the idea that the higher the number the more intense, but how do i determine what level my trips are?
